Posted: 30 Sep 2020 08:22 AM PDT I know that the debate wether it is pre war or post war is mostly solved, my question is, why would the army place their most advanced, and working power armor in a theme park? Wouldn't it be top secret? It kinda sounds like if today's army were to put a mickey themed super advanced prototype tank on disney land. [link] [comments] |

What resource ran out? Why was Europe even fighting the Middle-East over oil? Edit: To everyone saying that oil is used for much more than just power, and that Nate said "every major resource". Yes, but what even qualifies as a major resource? I asked my question in the apparently mistaken understanding that fusion power was widely available(since you find a fusion core in basically every basement), which it was apparently not. Because to a fusion powered society, energy is a non-issue, and if you have effectively infinite energy, the only question is how much you have right now to inefficiently gain everything else by using it. Even in the worst case scenario, where you can't just synthesize whatever you need, most raw materials can be mined in the asteroid belt(and according to Arc-Jet, they had the tech to do that). From there, you can artificially create almost anything. [link] [comments] |
