Why do some power armors in Fallout 4 have corporate paint jobs? Posted: 21 Oct 2020 04:21 PM PDT Examples being the Vim! T-51 suits, the Nuka Cola suits, Abraxo and Sugar Bombs suits, etc. Were they surplus suits bought from the military and used as walking advertisements? [link] [comments] |
Discussion about Vault 8 “Vault City” and the Institute. Posted: 21 Oct 2020 05:25 AM PDT Both are very similar to one another. Both are isolationist with extremely advanced technology, knowledge and resources. Both can create clones and or cloned replacement parts but the institute can create 3D printed superhumans. Both have power supply issues relating to overuse and inability to sustain large energy requirements for extended periods of time. Both have issues in regards to retaining personnel though in the Institute's case they hate everyone and anyone who isn't a genius with the same thirst for unrestrained scientific research. Both practice slavery Vault city uses serfs while the institute uses bioroids. Vault city had an overseer but this system was phased out for a council. While the institute only answers to one person the director. Overall who is your favourite and for what reason. [link] [comments] |

Why is Billy (Fridge Kid) still a child? Posted: 21 Oct 2020 11:35 AM PDT In Fallout 4, near Quincy, you stumble upon a Fridge with a Ghoul Kid inside. You free him and he tells you he's been in there for 210 years. If this is true and in those 210 years, how has he not grown up? Yeah, if he did, he'd have major back problems, but how is Billy still a kid after literally 2 centuries of being stuck in a Fridge? Also, in that time, no one else has happened to walk by? No one has looked at the fridge and thought there might be some food or water inside? [link] [comments] |
What do we know about the lives of Nate/Nora before the war? Posted: 21 Oct 2020 07:48 PM PDT Say what you will about the speech options in Fallout 4, but I love how our character speaks and feels like a real person. I love the duality of Nate and Nora as well, even if it is unconventional for a Fallout's protagonist. Nate was in the military and Nora was a lawyer, and they have a son. Do we know anything else about them? Like how Nora knows how to use Power Armor? [link] [comments] |
Is there a reason some Vaults have a larger Cave area than others? Posted: 21 Oct 2020 12:03 PM PDT Vault 13 and 34 both have massive Caves leading to their entrances, but other Vaults, like the Capital Wasteland and even Vault 11 ones only have a short Cave Hallway leading to their entrances. The former seems to be poor design since all that wasted Cave space could've been used for extra Vault Space and what if it were to collapse and no one even knew there was a Vault there? So, why the large Cave Entrances? [link] [comments] |

Does Fallout have factories anywhere? Posted: 21 Oct 2020 04:51 PM PDT I know the gun runners have factories. But are there factories for things like textiles and consumer goods and just things that aren't weapons? [link] [comments] |
Could someone use an Electron Charge Pack to charge other electronic items ? Posted: 21 Oct 2020 03:03 AM PDT |
Posted: 21 Oct 2020 01:52 PM PDT So because fo76 takes place only 25 years after the Great War, and everyone in the enclave bunkers in WV was dead by then, why didn't the other enclave troops or anyone else in the enclave make any moves to retake or salvage anything or at least retake the bunkers if they existed during that time? Or retake the bunkers during the other times in the fallout universe like around fallout 2 after the oil rig was destroyed why didn't they resettle in the abandoned enclave bunkers underneath white spring after the destruction of the pile rig or after their defeat in fo3? Why spread out when you have this bunker still being held together by its robots? [link] [comments] |
Where are the feral ghouls coming from? Were they all created by the Great War? Posted: 21 Oct 2020 04:27 AM PDT We see a lot of feral ghouls in the Fallout games, even the modern ones set more than two centuries after que the great war. Were the feral ghouls we see created by the nuclear fallouts? Shouldn't they all have died out by this point, when you account all the survivors and factions? [link] [comments] |
