    New Vegas crashes on startup even with NVAC. anyone know the problem?

    Title. everytime I try to boot up the game - from the launcher, from mod manager, from NVSE Loader, directly from the .exe file, it will simply open a black square window in the top left of my screen then crash immediately after. I have no Idea whats causing it at this point, Anti-Crash is installed correctly and isn't working, there's no mods installed and I just screams

    I just wanna Ring-a-ding-ding baby :(

    Finally got around to doing the companion quests, relatively new to the game. Always loved blowing the self righteous technology fetishists to the moon in each play through. However finishing up Veronica's quest line made it that much sweeter, they are nothing but raiders in power armor. The followers will always be a millions time better then the west coast brotherhood, felt so good using the pulse gun on those pompous paladins. Can only imagine the horror as they're beloved power armor fried and turned to slag around them, the fire clinging to them like the sins they have enacted over they're entire worthless lives. Thought that after everything Veronica would wake up and see them for what they are, disappointing but at least I could throw her worthless ass on the pile of burnt electronics and destroyed armor before I blow that dumpster to hell and beyond.

    Explored a chunk of vault 3 and came back up top to the beginning where she activated and realised shes just standing there?

    Should I load an old save file? Dont really wanna lose an hours worth of exploring😬

    Edit: killed here and she just revived herself... Could pickpocket a single .44 round tho

    My game is messing with me

    I need help. I just went through torture that is the start if dead money and am at the point where you start that party thing that is suppose to open the casino. Well every time I switch it on my game crashes. Did anyone else experience this? If so, is there any way to fix it? If I can't fix it how do I get back the 3 days that I spent on dead money?

    I absolutely despise the gauss rifle particle effects. I like how powerful it is and how it looks, but the terrible particle effect you get when you hit a shot is something I feel a unjustified animosity toward. Fight me. Or don't.

    I’m stuck in the tops presidential suite, help?

    I'm in the presidential suite after not talking to house and going straight to the tops, I had swank send Benny to his room, but I went to the suite after Benny gave me the key, it says no response from the intercom nor the elevator, and the quest "ace in the hole" started as I entered the suite, Ring a ding-ding has not been completed yet even though all the quest markers are orange in the pip boy, Raul and Ed-e are with me. And I can't even reload my saves because a while ago my load/save buttons got corrupted and crash the game when I attempt to use them, I've done everything to get his goons to come up but they've not yet, I'm not on PC I'm on xbox one, Help? I don't wanna have to redo my game.

    Getting good/bad karma quickly or easy(repeatable)

    I'm just wondering is there a way to easily get karma either of the two and is it repeatable cause I going to be trying to get the neutral endings. Im general the type in the game to take everything or mostly everything, that includes stealing. With the faction system as well it's difficult.

    What do you think are the best and worst quests in New Vegas?

    Pretty much title. I was discussing this in another Fallout subreddit and figured I'd stop by and ask what you think.

    My least favorite quest in the whole game is probably Come Fly With Me. I despise it with all my soul. (Copying and pasting from another comment I posted here) I already hate getting to the REPCONN building and navigating through it, and then the quest goes like: go upstairs, go downstairs, go back upstairs, go back downstairs, go fetch item #1, go fetch item #2, go upstairs for the third time to push a button and then walk the building again to get out. Plus, the choices you make during the quest have little effect on the outcome unless you kill the ghouls and I think I hate Chris too. Worst part is, you're pretty much supposed to do it, not only to help Manny (which is kinda optional) but to get Novac's good ending.

    Now, on the other hand, G.I. Blues is probably my favorite quest in the game. I already love Freeside, I think it's pretty representative of the world of FNV, and the actual quest is sublime; the Elvis references, the factions, the skill checks, the number of ways to face every single part of the quest and the possibilities of rewards when completing it. It's an important quest and you may be interested in doing it if you're going for an NCR run, but other than that it's completely optional.
