Why is Joshua Graham the only good karma companion in New Vegas? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 03:11 PM PDT Is there any lore reason for this? I thought all of the main game companions and also Christine and Follows Chalk would have good karma. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 09 Jul 2020 06:22 AM PDT If the title isn't well worded, please don't erase my post, English isn't my first language. We see for example that the Dead Horses have tattoos, and they have a significance. So, my question is that if all, or the majority of tribes wear tattoo? And in that sense, are some tribes being able to be recognized by them? Similar to how it happens to some cultures irl? It could be possible that the Chairmen wear suits to hide the tattoos; tough I don't know if this would apply to the White Glove, considering they started as ghouls, and I don't see a ghoul being able to get a tattoo. In the same sense, tribes in the Legion wouldn't have them, because Caesar erases all their tribal identity. Ulysses also has some sort of tattoos/scarifications. Scarifications aren't as easy to hide/erase as tattoos, and Ulysses probably regained most of his tribal identity, based on his dreads. In mostly curious cause I'm a tattoo apprentice myself, and kinda wanted to explore a bit of this. [link] [comments] |
Buffout Addiction and Withdrawal Posted: 09 Jul 2020 02:57 PM PDT Buffout addiction in the first two games made you suffer a -2 to both STR and END with a -3 to AGL. In 3 and New Vegas, a simple -1 to STR and END. The question is what do you suppose Buffout withdrawal would be? The symptoms and such. [link] [comments] |

Why does Mr.House use only securitrons? Posted: 10 Jul 2020 12:58 AM PDT I always wondered, why doesn't Mr house have assaultrons/Sentry bots among his army of securitrons? I mean Sentry bots are stronger than securitrons and assaultrons are supposed to be faster, It should make sense to have more variety in his army and since both assaultrons and Sentrys are made by Robco I really don't see why wouldn't he use them [link] [comments] |
Posted: 10 Jul 2020 02:41 AM PDT In real life, insects can't be very large right now for a number of reasons, but the main reason is due to the way they take in oxygen. Insects don't have lungs like we do instead, they take in oxygen directly through their exoskeleton. The thing is that, since we don't have massive amounts of oxygen in our atmosphere, insects have to be very small because they simply couldn't take in enough oxygen to sustain them if they were any larger. If they mutated to be much larger, they would just suffocate and die. One way around this would be to increase the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere, but if anything the fallout world seems to have less oxygen not more. Has any of the lore explained how the writers got around this? I get that you could stay "oh don't pay too much attention to the science" but the writers put so much effort into creating the rest of the world and making the lore fit together that this oversight honestly seems like a pretty gigantic and immersion breaking one. What do we know about the midwest? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 08:07 PM PDT Do we know anything about the midwest? Being from Minnesota it has always interested me what goes on around here, but it seems so hard to find anything on the topic [link] [comments] |
How was the Bolyston Club not overrun with looters immediately after the Great War? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 08:02 PM PDT There are many terminal entries and ghouls who were humans pre war who can attest to life in America immediately following the Great War, for example, Carol, who when asked tells us that right after the bombs there was looting and rioting for months before the rioters either died or turned into ghouls and the chaos eventually died down and turns into silence for decades. We can reasonably assume that The Commonwealth had a similar situation, especially considering it wasn't nearly as badly bombed as the Capital Wasteland, so how did the Bolyston Club, without a single barricade or anything preventing entry into the building, somehow not only make it out untouched from the months on end looting that went on in late 2077-early 2078, to have their end of the world suicide gala, but also, unlike most enterable buildings in the vicinity of Boston Common, never get scrapped by scavengers in the 210 years since? Is there a definitive compilation of all of Fallout lore? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 08:06 PM PDT I want to write a book in the Fallout universe and I would like it to be ad accurate as possible. I also want to know if there is one place to go to read about all of the universe. Does that exist? [link] [comments] |
