Fallout Lore | I saw an old post on NMA that mentioned how Fallout 3 ruined the franchise due to retcons. I can't find a list of retcons from Fallout 3. Could someone give a few examples? |

- Why does Mortimer specifically want Carlyle St. Clair for the gourmand? Were they going to try and eat them but he escaped?
- Is the brotherhood the closest thing left to the pre war US government after Broken Steel?
- Are Fallout tactics and Brotherhood of steel Canon?
- Did Vault-Tec ever regain contact with a vault after the bombs fell?
- Aren't there any tribals in Boston area? I didn't find any tribe when I was playing fallout 4.
- From what I know of, only china and the U.S got into a nuclear war... So where are the countries 200 years later???
- Where is the east coast brotherhood's main base of operations?

And I thought that the Followers of Apoclaypse were destroyed after Fallout 1. Is that the only retcon in New Vegas? [link] [comments] |

Did Vault-Tec ever regain contact with a vault after the bombs fell? Posted: 01 Jul 2020 11:46 AM PDT I've played Fallout 3, NV, 4, and minor bits of 76 but it always seems like the story of each vault starts with something like "I can't believe they did it, the bombs fell. We haven't heard from Vault-Tec yet and don't know what to do." Since Vault-Tec were running experiments in the vaults I'd assume they'd want the information gathered, but it seems like a company who could built complex underground structures around the country couldn't think of a good way to (re)establish communications with them after the world ended. Posted: 02 Jul 2020 01:24 AM PDT Just for the reference - Vegas didn't really got hit too hard, so mostly it's left untouched. Still, the strip and outer Vegas were inhabited by just some tribes who were running in gecko hide and wielding spears. Boston is got hit much worse, still there are no underdeveloped tribes. How could there be none? [link] [comments] |

Where is the east coast brotherhood's main base of operations? Posted: 01 Jul 2020 04:54 AM PDT In Fallout 4 I think the prydwen is called the brotherhoods mobile command center. So do the east coast brotherhood have a permanent base? I know the prydwen was build at Adams air force base, is this there more permanent home on the east coast? [link] [comments] |
