What is the canon ending of Fallout 4? Posted: 31 May 2020 10:53 PM PDT I've played all four endings of Fallout 4 and I'm kind of curious which one you guys think is canon. I'd likely rule out the institute simply because they're clearly depicted as the bad guys (slavery and all that), and I'd probably rule out the brotherhood because it's made clear that their views on synths are also wrong (while many in the community may not like synths, it's clear the devs wanted the player to be sympathetic to them). I'd say that leaves the railroad ending, but then again Bethesda likely wouldn't want the brotherhood to be severely weakened because they're the most widely beloved faction, so I'd say it's 50/50 at best. My guess is that the minutemen ending is canon because Bethesda depicts them as the heroes (they're clearly shown to be the honorable soldiers sticking up for the little guy) and because with the minutemen ending does actually let you keep both the brotherhood AND railroad alive, meaning that it leaves more potential for a sequel (the minutemen ending also allows for a functional CPG, which could serve as Bethesda's equal to the NCR). I'm curious what you guys think the canon ending is, as well as if you think they might bring back and expand upon the CPG. [link] [comments] |
Does Caesar's Legion have civilians? Posted: 31 May 2020 01:08 PM PDT Does the legion only have Soldiers and Slaves or are there citizens living in legion conquered lands? [link] [comments] |

Lore regarding plutonium wells. Posted: 31 May 2020 01:24 PM PDT These wells are built into buildings but what do they do? Even structures that have fusion generators. They are even in grouped facilities. WHAT ARE THEY? [link] [comments] |
How many members of the BoS actually live on the east coast? Posted: 31 May 2020 05:39 AM PDT Most specifically the capitol wasteland brotherhood of steel, I checked the wiki page and apparently during the events of fo3 they say about 128 members but then they contradict themselves by saying there's probably many more depending on the broken steel dlc. It's also widely known that the BoS in FO4 are from the CW, so how many members were ordered to protect and serve the Capitol, and how many were sent out onto the Prydwen? Now this is my opinion on which faction ultimately wins in fo4. I'd just like to add that this is my personal opinion so if you disagree with me that's fine. I strongly believe that the BoS ultimately fail in fo4, not because they're utterly useless like most factions in fo4, but because they're the second most evil faction in the game, their main goals are: personal gain and domination over the people of Commonwealth(elder maxson also isn't a good leader and comes off as naïve at times), The righteous decision is siding with the Minutemen they're the only faction that cares about the safety and well being of the people of Commonwealth (the game kinda forces you to believe that it's the true ending). Would any of BoS survive this ordeal? Would they retreat back to the CW? Would they be to ashamed of such a grand defeat, or would they end up hiding in a bunker similar to what happened in new vegas? [link] [comments] |
[New Vegas] Primm's roller coaster should have been scrapped by now right? Posted: 31 May 2020 02:26 AM PDT I don't understand how Primm can be in such disrepair. Yes, there's that gang issue but that's fairly recent. I'm just dumtounded when looking at Primm compared to Nipton which really doesn't have all that much to recommend it considering it has 0 casinos and all but is in really good shape. Like half those houses are not that bad while Primms downtown (if you can call it that) is trashed to hell. Is the NCR somehow to blame? They kind of gave up the city and that only leaves me so much more confused. [link] [comments] |
