- My F:NV character.
- Hows my desert ranger outfit? I could put some of the final touches but I think it looks good for what it is and also the back of the helmet has a full metal jacket reference it's the "born to kill" and peace sign
- "The Ranger's Aim was Deadly with the Big Iron on His Hip."
- Saw this while getting fitted for my correctional officer uniform. I didn't have too much to say.
- "Hope a Storm from the Divide Skins Him Alive"
- You are now disguised as a member of the Brotherhood of Steel.
- Umm... you ok?
- Coyote meat
- Superior radio station
- Going through lonesome road on my kill everything run and thought I'd get some lols from this.
- And that's a wrap
- Two weeks of fiddling, and I finally got it to work. Wonder why...
- Thought that this was posted here at first
- I am Liked by the NCR on my NCR characte and on the reputation page, however, on my map it says I am neutral with them and cannot use ncr features such as the NCR emergancy radio. What can cause this and what can fix it?
- Relatively simple fix for the faction armor disguise bug (PC only)
- Something odd....
- First time player!

Posted: 28 Mar 2020 06:51 AM PDT I'm trying to mess around with the atomic! perk and it looks like you can trigger it by eating irradiated food that have a radiation damage duration. From the wiki coyote meat is the only one listed and has a 3 second duration. Are all other sources of radiation damage flat and wont work or does it tie to the length of the healing? If coyote meat is the only thing that works is there a good place to get a lot of it? If there is and it works with logan's loophole and similar perks I might try it out. Having a reliable way to get a burst of speed might be worth the perk slot even if there's not much radiation in FNV. Edit: I'm also planning on self irradiating with nukes after using rad-x. Are there any other ways, especially explosives, to cause radiation to yourself? [link] [comments]

Relatively simple fix for the faction armor disguise bug (PC only) Posted: 28 Mar 2020 03:15 AM PDT So because this bug is fairly common and has happened to me multiple times over the years, I thought I'd explain a simple way of fixing it for future googling references and New Vegas'ers who feel this is a game-breaking issue. The bug Taking off faction armor doesn't remove your faction affiliation due to a bug. For example, after equipping NCR armor means you are forever tagged as NCR and Caesar's Legion will be forever hostile. Also BoS will also be hostile. From what I have seen, there isn't any console commands to resolve this. Most people will end up reloading a save and avoid faction armor in the future. This is a shitty future. The solution (PC only)
Then Then This will add three ID tags to your apparel inventory: a Caesar's Legion, NCR and BoS tag. Equip then unequip each tag, one by one. This should then override any faction armor effects on your character. Now you are free to play the game as you intended. Note that if you want to use disguises in the future, you will need to use these tags along with ANY armor you want. I hope this helps someone. Cheers to the modding community and Morat48 for making this mod. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Mar 2020 03:03 AM PDT So I have probably 500+ hours on this game and I've never seen this. I was going back to the Tribal Village to collect some loot and I noticed that some people were there and those burned bodies were alive and then later I went to get that Fat Man off that dead super muntant near that cave by Jacobstown and it was alive. I've never seen that in my life. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Mar 2020 01:37 PM PDT Played and finished FNV for the first time (game pass bless u) and I really enjoyed it, played F4 beforehand the differences are pretty obvious but I enjoyed both games for what they are. Anyway fuck geckos. I can't say I'm really scared of anything except the slow march of time towards death but seeing that GAPING mouth full on Usain Bolt at me gives me chills every fucking time [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Mar 2020 02:24 AM PDT I guess, I have two questions here: first one is apparently a bug, which I don't know how to fix. And the other is about the scientists. They are constantly reminding me of going through their research centres (X-13, 2, 8), and I am wondering at the moment if they might be pissed off by me wandering around the whole Big MT (random replicas seem to indicate their irritation). But what happens if I completely forget about my primary objectives? Is there a limit for the so called exploration? And about the music: Mysterious Broadcast radio seems to have disappeared irreversibly. Ambient music in Fallout New Vegas is creepy af, and the radio was the only comfort. And now I am trying to turn it on, and no music plays. How to fix it, please, tell me? PS: I am sorry if there are any mistakes or the text is way too incomprehensible, bc I am not from and English-speaking country. [link] [comments]

Crashes made me give up on this game Posted: 27 Mar 2020 07:06 PM PDT Holy fucking shit fuck god damn shit. I have spent about as many hours trying to troubleshoot this game as playing it. I love this game, I have a few hundred hours on it, but I just want to play this game with mods because vanilla has gotten old after a few runs. I've tried using NVAC, autopurge, and spent hours checking mods one at a time, checking if saving or travelling or loading causes a crash for every one of 40ish mods and I can never get it to work. I always end up in some situation which leads to an irreparable crash that prevents me from getting through the game. If anyone has tips, or if there's some alternative to NVAC that actually fucking works, I'd love to hear about them, because I really want to be able to play this game [link] [comments] |
