Is there logic in vault numbering?

The Portland/Seattle area of the US is unknown in lore. If I were to make a Halloween costume or cosplay of a vault dweller from Portland, Oregon, what might the vault number be? I feel it'd be too silly to be from vault 420 or 69, wondering if there'd be a lore-friendly number.

How goes the annexation of Canada in Fallout? Is there any noteworthy information on it?

As a Canadian I am slightly interested in the annexation of Canada.

Did Appalachia suffer any type of hit from a nuke?

I got Fallout 76 over Christmas this year and I really enjoyed the game and something I was confused about was why the forest region had so much greenery where a place like the Capital Wasteland was all dead. It was only 25 years after the war yet it is still in a much better place than the Capital wasteland 200 years ago. Also the nuclear silos are still kind of active. I am sorry if someone answered this question before I was just wondering.

Janes brahmin in Broc Flower cave has Lincolns head on it, meaning that it was removed from the memorial and brought to the west coast.

[Fo76] How did the overseer disappear from Appalachia and then came back on the wastelanders trailer?

In one of the silo holotapes of the overseer it seems that she saw how we, the player as vault dwellers, launch nukes throughout Appalachia.

But we never saw her, so how she noticed?

Was she far away from Appalachia but near enough to hear the blasts?

Was she hidden in a bunker?

And what about the overseer travel? She left a lot of holotapes scattered around Appalachia and we never saw her, I know that the vault 76 overseer's mission is to get out of the vault before anyone does, but how much time is between the overseer getting out of the vault and the dwellers doing the same?

If we see the in-game calendar we see that it will always start with the 23rd October 2102. Yes it can go further, the furthest I got was the 31st of October. But it always restarts.

And vault 76 was programmed to turn off everything inside of it including the oxygen storage some hours after the vault door opens.

So the overseer needed to emerge hours before the dwellers did?
