Posted: 28 Nov 2019 02:56 PM PST Hello all. I've been thinking about the Enclave in Fallout 76 (or what is left of them) And there's a detail I can't quite figure out or understand surrounding MODUS, and people's aversion to him (or the opposite) do to his seeming 'morals'. I was wondering if any fellow Fallout historians can confirm one way or the other. Now I understand of course in many cases with the series, Enclave typically equals bad in some form or another, and from what I've learned, the 'chapter' in Appalachia is certainly no exception to the rule. The detail that confuses me is the business about the Scorchbeasts. Wasn't Eckhart to blame for a majority of the wrongdoings in this case? Santiago's team resorted to destroying MODUS as a means to stop Eckhart's ability to mess with the nukes, Scorchbeasts and more, as I understood it. MODUS upon learning about this, reacted as Sci-fi robots tend to do and killed them in response. Now this is where I get a little lost. Sure, his mannerisms and 'charm' are akin to a typical Bond villain, but is there some detail that I missed that completely damns MODUS? Perhaps a terminal somewhere I missed? Is there any chance at all that maybe MODUS was just acting based on Eckhart's authority? Or is he definitely evil without question? Thank you all for your time. I hope my question's sufficiently explained. [link] [comments] |
Wouldn’t the World be much safer if the lone wanderer uses the modified FEV Posted: 28 Nov 2019 06:18 AM PST Think about it all people drink water, a lot of them drink from the river wild animals drink from it as well so lots of dangerous creatures die. Eventually the FEV virus would spread through the river to the oceans and eventually all the water would be contaminated, killing all irradiated creatures It's very evil but the world would be safer [link] [comments] |

Why did the Enclave fall so quickly after Fallout 2? Posted: 28 Nov 2019 08:53 AM PST Ever since the victory of the chosen one over the Enclave in Fallout 2 the Enclave isn't exactly the same. In Fallout 3 they are decently powerful but nowhere near the actual strength of the OG Enclave. In New Vegas, they are nothing but a legend. For all of their bases and equipment why would they fall so quickly? [link] [comments] |
