Are the trees in Fallout 2 that appear to have brown leaves on them supposed to be dead, or are they supposed to be dying/unhealthy?

I know that there are several locations in Fallout 2 with trees that have green leaves and are obviously supposed to be alive. I'm not asking about those. I'm asking about the trees which appear to have brown leaves on them, such as in this screenshot. I'm inclined to think they are alive because trees usually lose their leaves when they die, there are leafless trees in the game (some of which can be seen in the screenshot), and you can return to some locations from Fallout 1 which have no trees at all in that game but which have these trees in Fallout 2, which would make sense if they grew there after the events of the first game.

What were the events of fallout 76s main story?

Might Be A Dumb Question: Do I Need to Olay Brotherhood Of Steel or Shelter to get the full story?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2019 05:47 PM PDT

I've been recently getting into fallout 4 (love it so far), but it's gotten me intrested in the overall story of the universe,

As such I've boughten Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, 3, and New Vagus on steam so I can play them all.

Question tho? Do I need to play Brotherhood of Steel or Shelter to get the story? Will I be missing anything important to the over all world narrative?

Edit: Thanks, I've gotten my answer.

What happened to all the enclave power armor in Fallout 3?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2019 12:39 AM PDT

So, basically, the title. As of the end of Broken Steel, the brotherhood has looted a metric shitload of enclave advanced power armor, and as of fallout 4, they appear to be using exactly none of it. Is there any explanation for this? I thought it was vastly more advanced than any model they had access to.

What exactly are gen 3 synths?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2019 10:53 AM PDT

I can't recall if it's ever stated what precisely they are or not

Are they incredibly sophisticated bio mechanical androids or are they cloned humans with cybernetic enhancements?

They also apparently don't require food so where does their energy come from? Is it provided wirelessly by the institute or somehow extracted from the ambient radiation

    References to Pre-War Movies?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2019 04:33 PM PDT

Are there any specific pre-war movies referenced anywhere in Fallout? Since the Fallout universe differs from ours, are there any movies they have in common?

Arcade mentions watching gladiator movies as one of the ways he learned Latin, but can't recall any others.

    The purpose of Vault 81

    Posted: 02 Nov 2019 04:48 AM PDT

Looking at the wiki page for Vault 81, it mentions the experiment was to create a universal cure for any sickness humans could suffer from. Now the cure that Curie makes is able to treat Austin's mole rat disease, but could it have also treated other sicknesses like the New Plague or the disease that Maccready's son has? Why can't she make more?

Why is cannablism so frowned upon?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2019 12:01 PM PDT

I am talking about in game only. In every fallout game there is literally a perk, cannablism. It typically restores health and repenlshises hunger, while lowering karma.

Food is not only hard to find in fallout, but its often expensive, irradiated, and years old. Yes, we treat food with radiation in order to stop bacterial growrh... But how does that affect food 9ne finds in a rat and bug infested sewer?

The bottom line here is that while food takes time, grinding, and preparation there are no shortage of bad people. Why would anyone care if one ate a raider, even as evil as cook cook?

Prions are not an issue in game, so I don't believe rhey deserve any recognition.
