Is that map of the 13 Commonwealths actually canon? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:14 AM PDT There's been a map floating around for years which depicts the division of the United States into 13 Commonwealths, notably featuring California split into North/South and Arkansas lumped in with Texas. I can't recall for sure, but is there any in-game lore to actually support this map? Did it originate from the Fallout bible? Did it inexplicably show up from out-of-the-blue, like the transistor controversy? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:56 PM PDT So we know of many vault tec experiments but what was the actual purpose of the vault 111 experiment. We know about the cryo pods and the vault being abandoned due to some sort of failure but was the reason to release a bunch of humans unscathed into the radiated commonwealth and see what happened or was it for something else. Why wouldn't the guards in Tenpenny Tower take over the whole thing? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 10:08 AM PDT Is it ever explained as to why the guards of Tenpenny Tower would happily sleep outside in camp beds and to take commands from people like Tenpenny when there seems to be no reason to? There isn't any state to enforce property rights or to put down a rebellion outside of the guards and the people of Tenpenny tower don't seem to have a job that would be bringing in lots of caps to ensure that the guards were paid. If the residents do have money, isn't it most likely to be stored within the Tower? I'm trying to understand why this didn't happen, but I don't think I can. Any help would be appreciated x [link] [comments] |
Did all the Desert Rangers integrate? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:44 PM PDT Did all Desert Rangers intergrate when they signed the treaty with the NCR? Does anything reference this IG? Thank you [link] [comments] |

Would the Capital Wasteland Enclave be different if they knew President Eden was a computer? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:23 PM PDT It is mentioned by Eden himself that Colonel Autumn was the only human aware that Eden was a Zax Supercomputer. With that said, would there actually be any disadvantages to revealing himself as a computer to his troops? [link] [comments] |

What power source does other robots use? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 01:32 PM PDT I only know about Sentry bot using two fusion cores as power source. What power source does the rest of robots use? [link] [comments] |

Are there limitations to Charon's contract (Fallout 3)? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 12:19 PM PDT For those who may need refreshing, Charon is the ghoul bouncer for the 9th Circle in Underworld whose contract you can buy off of Ahzrukhal. In conversation, Ahzrukhal tells the Lone Wanderer (LW) that Charon is loyal to whomever holds his contract beyond question due to his upbringing, and will do whatever his employer orders. Ahzrukhal also insists that Charon isn't a slave, and implies that Charon did something in the past to deserve his "employment." The LW never learns what this particular something was. If the LW buys Charon's contract, he shoots Ahzrukhal in the fucking face. It's pretty awesome. If prompted, Charon tells the LW, "Ahzrukhal was an evil bastard. So long as he held my contract, I was honor bound to do as he commanded." Beyond that, Charon also shows in-game that he isn't some mindless soldier but has his own moral compass. If the LW hurts anyone in Underworld or steals, Charon will attack the LW. If the LW hits/attacks Charon enough times, Charon will tell the LW, "Physical violence on your part invalidates our contract," and attack. Regardless, there is one event that contradicts what Ahzrukhal and Charon himself tell the LW, and in turn that event makes another later event unusual.
Is this just an oversight on Bethesda's part or is there something I'm not seeing regarding Charon's contract? Why does he refuse to retrieve the G.E.C.K but is fine with starting the purifier? [link] [comments] |
Who created hellfire power armor Posted: 24 Oct 2019 05:35 PM PDT Alright I wrote the wrong thing. What I meant to ask is was the Hellfire created in 2277 or 2080 [link] [comments] |
