    Fallout 3 Theme Park

Let's pretend I am a Gazzillionaire and I am going to build a FO3 theme park. What rides and attractions would you like to see?

I don’t think she’s supposed to say this. I just blew up megaton. Is my game bugged or something?

[Discussion] What would make Fallout 3 a perfect game in your eyes?

    Posted: 28 Jun 2021 10:21 PM PDT

For me, there were a few things I would have changed that are totally doable in the game engine.

    1. Make as many things, within reason, respawn. I think it's odd that about 5 raiders respawn in the outside area of Evergreen Mills, for example. Either make them stay wiped out or (preferably) respawn all of them when the cell resets after a few days.

    2. Make junk items have an additional use beyond schematic components and rock-it ammo. Make it so a wooden crutch repairs wooden-stock weapons like the assault rifle, with a penalty on how much it can repair. This would also make looting metal boxes and whatnot more worthwhile.

    3. Give the player more of a reason to target anything but the head. I know the dart gun is good for deathclaws, but beyond that, there isn't much of a reason to hit limbs. Perhaps crippling one arm prevents enemies from using two-handed weapons? Or slows their reload speed? Inaccuracy isn't enticing enough compared to the damage bonus against the head.

FWE does a lot of these, can't recommend it enough. What do you think? Is it already perfect to you?

Transferring save data from one PC to another with DLC?

    Posted: 28 Jun 2021 08:09 PM PDT

Hello, I recently got FO3 to work on my new pc, and I want to transfer my old save data from my laptop to the new pc. All the forums I'm seeing say to just copy/paste your save data, which I've done. The issue, however, lies in the fact that all of the DLC items I had in the game didn't transfer over, and when I go to load a save, it warns me that the files rely on content that is no longer there. Is there any way to get around this/get the lost items back? In my inventory, I have none of the DLC items, none of the DLC quests completed, and none of the DLC locations. I have every other item I have retrieved from the base game, however.
