why does the handmade assault rifle weigh 25 pounds? Posted: 28 Apr 2021 02:23 PM PDT specifically, i'm talking about the automatic version of the handmade assault rifle with the powerful automatic reciever, the long covered improved barrel, light stock, quick eject drum mag, reflex sight, and muzzle brake. This thing is essentially a mirrored ak47, and ak's typically weigh around 7-9 pounds without a magazine, the 75 round drum for the ak weighs roughly 5 pounds, so even if the gun was 9 pounds, the accumulated weight should be around 14 pounds. Where is the extra 11 pounds coming from? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Apr 2021 06:07 PM PDT I always wondered how they were able to build say vault 34 with a giant cave to the entrance, but does vault 88 kinda solve this issue? If you don't know, in the building area of the vault, there are 2 train tunnels carrying supplies and some residents, thought if they're really residents or workers with vault suits is unknown. But this could solve how vault tec was able to build these vaults underground with ease as they'd just have to built some railway tunnels, get in supplies and workers to build it and when the vault was all done just seal them up. After all if they needed to excavate a giant area underground, why not also build an east and quick way to get supplies in and out of the vault as quickly as possible. Obviously not every vault would've been built like this but I imagine most. Vault 111 could've been easily been built using the elevator as the east in and out entry points during building, vaults such as 8 and other possible vaults with the doors right out in the open and not in a deep dark cave like 34 and 13 could've just been built without use of deep underground railroads.
