    Best Rifle to use?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 06:33 AM PDT

I'm currently rocking the Sniper Rifle, but would like to move to more bolt/lever action rifles to get the Cowboy perk. I was wondering which would be better, the Hunting Rifle with upgrades or Paciencia. I wanted to use the Medicine Stick but I have almost no ammo if I were to buy it. All suggestions are welcome!

    How to kill benny?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 06:16 AM PDT

So in short, I've pissed off the Legion so much that Caeser hates me (Legion snowflake). Problem is that Benny ran off to hide in his camp and I can't even get inside the Legate Camp with a disguise.

How am I supposed to kill Benny now and find the platinum chip?

This is my first playthrough btw so try and keep any major spoilers to yourself (I know the basic storyline, I just want to experience the game in harmony).

    NCR ftw btw

What do you think is the real ending?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2021 05:53 AM PDT

With a renewed conversation about Fallout New Vegas since the Microsoft purchase and possible spin offs or even a sequel, now might be a better time than ever to ask the community what ending they think is canon.

My personal opinion? Independent Vegas is the canon ending. Things wrap up pretty neatly for Vegas if you go with the best version of this ending. NCR is pushed out after exhaustion at Hoover Dam, Legion without Caesar or Lanius falls into chaos among the ranks and retreats inwards to Arizona and House is out of the picture. Yes man becomes an independent personality himself instead of taking orders from everyone and Vegas remains the place it always was under the guard of the MK2 securitrons and the surplus spreads out into the wasteland to help maintain order in some of the smaller settlements.

As for the ending of Lonesome Road, I'm pretty much undecided on it. Either I believe the Courier bombed both the Long 15 and Dry Wells (bombing the L15 to paraphrase Ulysses, cuts the throat of the NCR making it very difficult for them to retaliate in the Mojave as the Courier has cut off their supply line) or they disarm both nukes and no area is destroyed.

Sometimes I lean towards the nuke ending seeing as it makes sense for the Courier to want to cement the independence of Vegas further by preventing any large scale retaliation from NCR, with the L15 destroyed they've got much bigger problems to worry about like their logistics and supply than New Vegas. The Legion doesn't pose a huge threat seeing as their leadership has been decimated including Vulpes and Lucius.

    What do you guys think?

What’s going on? I feel somethings happening

Lately during my browsing sessions I've come across lots of New Vegas content. Memes, videos... all of a sudden I'm seeing content.

Are there rumours of a remaster? New Vegas 2 perhaps? What's going on!!

January 2021 we saw the highest player count on steam for just over 5 years. Could it be January sale/people being at home more?
