Why didn’t the brotherhood try to reclaim fort defiance when they returned to Appalachia?

Probably been asked before but Fort defiance was already setup with weapons, barriers and all the sort so why not try to reclaim the fort instead of going to the atlas observatory and setting up their base of operations there?

On Lucy Grandchester - is she just a hologram?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 01:06 PM PST

In Nuka World there is a mansion that is "haunted" by the "ghost" of a sociopathic girl called Lucy Grandchester. However, there's a slight issue here: usually ghosts are the same age as the person who died, yet Lucy died at 18 and her "ghost" is maybe 12 years old at the very most, probably even younger.

This is why I believe this "ghost" was just a hologram designed to scare tourists. This wouldn't be the first time in Fallout that holograms have been confused for ghosts; look at the Sierra Madre casino, for example.

    Power armor in different locations

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 03:52 PM PST

Why do we see so many differences in the availability of power armor in different states? In the Capitol wasteland, the only power armor available is the standard t-45d, and the one suit of t51-b is a prototype. Then, in the Mojave, there are tons of suits of t-51b along with t-45d, as well as in Los Angeles. Then, in Boston there is an even wider array of power armor models. So why do we see these differences? Perhaps all the suits in the Capitol were shipped north to help annex canada, and that's why so many are in Boston?

What happened to Russia after the Nuclear fallout?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 09:05 PM PST

Hi there, I'm an novice when it comes to Fallout lore, but I was wondering if anyone has insight on what happened to Russia after the Nuclear fallout? I realize that China was the main antagonist to the United States in the Fallout Cannon, so was Russia (or the Soviet Union) already annihilated during the competition for resources? I would appreciate some insight!

In the NCR playthrough you have the option to recruit the brotherhood of steel and enclave remnants. Why dont they attack eachother?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 07:55 PM PST

In the ncr playthrough if you complete macnamara's "still in the dark" by siding with him, you get the option to have brotherhood soldiers show up at the hoover dam. If you complete arcade gannon's quest, For auld lange syne, you get the option to also have remnants of the enclave show up at the battle. During the battle the brotherhood and arcade in his tesla armor fight through the visitors center along with ncr troops. And on the dam itself brotherhood soldiers show up aswell as an enclave vertibird. Why dont they shoot eachother? The brotherhood, NCR and enclave all hate eachother but the brotherhood and ncr share a grudge against enclave remnants, killing them on sight and hunting them down. So why dont they fight? Im sure NCR or brotherhood seeing an enclave painted vertibird showing up and a hitsquad of enclave coming out would raise some red flags. They dont know that the enclave is just that tiny , for all they know a huge bunker is somewhere in the mojave holding hundreds of enclave. realistically they should shoot at eachother, arcade, or the courier never alert rangers or troopers to the fact the fucking enclave us showing up. to me it seems like a major lorebreak.

Sentinel power armor from Creation club is canon?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 06:57 PM PST

Today I saw their story, apparently it was a program created by West Tek and General Atomics before the Great War and after this technology was recovered by thethe Brotherhood Outcasts and the prototypes were brought to the Commonwealth

Does every Synth know he is a synth?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 01:25 PM PST

I know Danse didn't know he was a synth, but does Sturges, Trashcan Clara and Magnolia know that they are syths?

edit: carla is human, not a synth.
