Is there any sense of American identity left Posted: 19 Jul 2020 12:14 AM PDT It's been 200 years since America died so it's reasonable for people not to have that big of a connection, but is there still a general sense of being American? Like let's say if the NCR wanted to peacefully annex smaller nations on the ground of being the United States, would any people out there accept it on the grounds of feeling American? Any good reason (or in game explanation) why there's a Lucky 38 VIP card on Chief Hanlon's desk? Posted: 18 Jul 2020 05:08 AM PDT Is there? Im finding reasons why I should turn him in and I happen to see it in particular out in the open on his desk. I can even steal it myself without getting caught. Its almost as if its not NCR property... Does he somehow have connections to Mr House? [link] [comments] |
To what extent does Caesar believe his own hype? Posted: 18 Jul 2020 05:13 PM PDT In the transition from Edward Sallow to Caesar to Caesar the God-King, is there a solid indication of how much he believes about himself vs what he knows he has to keep up for the internal Legion mythos? Did Marcus still think the Master had the right idea by the time Fallout: New Vegas rolls around? Posted: 18 Jul 2020 06:34 PM PDT For the past couple days after looking at some of his dialogue in Fallout 2 and New Vegas I've had this question circulating around my head. Maybe's it's just me or the fact he only gave the abridged version in the latter, but the way he talked about the Master's ideals when asked by the Courier felt different compared to when he talked about his ideals to the Chosen back then. Figured that either it's because he came to realize it wasn't as that flawless of a vision in the end or like what a friend of mine said it's just that Marcus isn't bitter about it after so many years since then and just wants to live in peace. Real-World Equivalents to Fallout Chems, and Subsequent Side Effects Posted: 18 Jul 2020 09:01 PM PDT I was in part inspired by the question, and felt compelled to expand outward beyond what was already stated: https://www.reddit.com/r/falloutlore/comments/hocanz/buffout_addiction_and_withdrawal/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share Operating under the assumption that Buffout is a steroid and that Med-X is Morphine renamed to get past an Australian rating committee, what general classification of drugs would the other chems be classified as? I personally believe that Jet is some kind of amphetamine, but if anyone has an alternate idea, please voice it. [link] [comments] |
Are Brotherhood T-60s made pre-war or post-war? Posted: 18 Jul 2020 07:36 PM PDT Did the BOS found a cache or did they make them? [link] [comments] |
Fallout: New Vegas loading screen power armor Posted: 18 Jul 2020 06:34 AM PDT In a New Vegas loading screen, on the far right a person is holding a Gatling laser in Power armor on a magazine. I can't seem to put my finger on what model this is, if anyone knows what I'm talking about please tell me what it is [link] [comments] |
Seeking: concept art or blueprint style illustration of psionic nullifier Posted: 18 Jul 2020 12:36 PM PDT An item that has shown up at multiple points in the Fallout universe is the psionic nullifier, basically a device strapped to the head to stop psychic powers, coming and going? It was used defensively against the Master in the first game, and the Forecaster in New Vegas used one...I don't know if it showed up anywhere else. I've looked for images, but everything I've found is just a screen cap... [link] [comments] |
