What technology does BoS NOT confiscate?

Thanking in terms of Vault 22 or the automatron dlc.

Where is the line? In 3 and NV they seem focused on weapons, but 4 looks alot like a BoS empire is forming, which could lead to suppression of other techs as a means of subjugation of the unwilling.

Why are Super Mutants named Super Mutants?

    Posted: 31 Dec 2019 10:56 PM PST

Was there just not a better way to name them? I mean, everything else in the wasteland got a cool name so why not them? What would you name them?

    Something to think about

If the sole survivor in fallout 4 seduces Curie then does that mean it's incest because all synths come from the blood sample of Shaun your SON

How is The Enclave not horribly inbred

    Posted: 31 Dec 2019 09:35 AM PST

While I know the Enclave is a huge organization, bur they only accepted the best of the best politicians, generals and other such people and I am wondering wouldn't the gene pool get small quickly?

Why the NCR’s expansion doesn’t make sense

    Posted: 31 Dec 2019 07:16 PM PST

After the events in Fallout 2 it can be assumed that the NCR annexed Vault City and New Reno which are both far north and east of the Sierra Nevada mountains. If the NCR wanted to expand into northern Nevada, they would first have to expand eastward towards New Vegas to go around the Sierra Nevada range. The farthest north the NCR could go before hitting mountains would be Redding. After that, it would most likely be easier to go around the Sierra Nevada through Vegas to continue its northern expansion. Also, Vegas is just much closer to Shady Sands than any of the other northern cities making it a pretty obvious next step.

Long distance communication, trade, and travel?

    Posted: 31 Dec 2019 12:23 PM PST

I've always wondered about what state the rest of the world is in but more recently I've been thinking of what contact the American wasteland has with the outside world. Obviously there is contact with what used to be Mexico and Canada but what about Europe, Japan, China, etc.? I mean Cait, Moriarty, James, and Tenpenny all come from the British Isles but how did they get here? I'm not aware of any transatlantic trade or travel that takes place in the Fallout universe after the bombs fell. Also what about communications? We saw that the Enclave was able to call down an orbital strike but I don't know of any other displays of long range/otherwise advanced communications. I only played Fallout 4, Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 3 so I'm wondering if it's touched on in the other games or if I missed something.
