Ideas for a build for my next play through? Posted: 01 Dec 2019 08:10 AM PST Currently I'm doing an NCR run primarily using explosives and energy weapons, I have very good karma and have a few side quests left to do and then the NCR main quest. For my next run I'm considering being a lawless bastard that either sides with the legion or yes man. I'm torn between trying a sneaky sniper build and a head on melee one. Any suggestions? Lonesome Road and Ulysses make a lot more sense on a Legion playthrough Posted: 30 Nov 2019 07:54 PM PST Instead of Lonesome Road being "Mailman gets mad at Mailman for doing his job", some of the dialogue changes, and quite a few lines have Ulysses either accusing you of or questioning whether or not you did it intentionally on Caesar's orders, and depending on whatever backstory you've made for your Courier, this can actually be somewhat reasonable and it would explain why he's so angry with you, especially if you find his log where he expresses hatred for and condemns the White Legs and his role in their culture and newfound power. Deception and ruthless acts of meaningless violence are despicable to him. Still, dude decides to answer that by nuking more people, so it still isn't perfect, but at least it's a bit better. Animation glitches with revolvers, pistols and repeaters. Posted: 01 Dec 2019 04:35 AM PST I had downloaded Hitmans 1st person weapon overhaul but eventually I deleted it. Some animations were broken like Joshua graham's pistol, the 45 pistol and maria which all used revolver animations and repeater animations not playing. I went into the game files and made sure to delete just the modded animations but the glitches are still there plus now revolvers won't fire, i can reload them and move about with them but they won't fire Load order: DeadMoney.esm HonestHearts.esm OldWorldBlues.esm LonesomeRoad.esm GunRunnersArsenal.esm ClassicPack.esm MercenaryPack.esm TribalPack.esm CaravanPack.esm aHUD.esm FCOMaster.esm NVStripOpen.esm NVWillow.esp UWHNV-Core.esm Project Nevada-Core.esm Project Nevada-Equipment.esm Project Nevada-Rebalance.esp Project Nevada-Cyberware.esp SomeguySeries.esm SpeedyResources.esm RH_IRONSIGHTS_NV.esm Performance Of The Gods.esp NCR Ranger Helmet Neck Cover.esp WMIMNV.esp FCO-NPC Changes.esp Courier Vests.esp Fellout.esp NVNovacApartment.esp populatedcasino-light.esp StripOpenMain.esp Alternative Start.esp CourierCacheWSE.esp ArizonaArmy.esp MojaveSandyDesert.esp NewVegasBounties.esp Project Nevada-Gun Runners' Arsenal.esp WeaponAnimations.esp RH_IronSights_NV_Vanilla.esp Pipboy2500_edisleado.esp Casm with MCM.esp Project Nevada-Honest Hearts.esp Project Nevada-Lonesome Road.esp Project Nevada-Old World Blues.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp AN94.esp Cshotgun.esp Remington870wingmaster.esp PPSh41.esp CM4A1.esp AK47.esp AEK971.esp Mossberg590.esp CAGE 1.9.3.1.esp [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Dec 2019 06:04 AM PST I know I am late to the party but I just recently bought new vegas ultimate edition as it was on sale on steam. I previously played the vanilla version and had fun building an unarmed character. I am interested to hear what are some fun and good builds you can go in the ultimate edititon. Currently, I am playing a science energy weapon build and doing the old world blues quest. [link] [comments]

Weird Saving/Loading Issue on PC Posted: 01 Dec 2019 08:39 AM PST So yesterday I started a new game, did a clean install of all the mods, NVSE etc. but after leaving Goodsprings and entering Primm I realized I had neglected to install one mod, the Rockwell pursuit. I left the game, installed it, but when I got back to the main menu, some of my recent saves were unload-able (understandable since I installed a mod) but what really perplexed me was that ALL of the save thumbnails would show for a split second and then I would only see an empty black space where the thumbnail would normally be. I started a new game, deleted all the old saves, BUT.. The problem still remains, regardless of whether I load the save via the main menu, or in-game. I've been playing and modding NV for many years and I have never encountered anything like this before. Any suggestions are welcome because even new game saves retain the same issue. It seems to be an error regarding the games ability to actually view the thumbnails? So far all the new game saves are loadable. [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Dec 2019 08:17 AM PST I installed the mod manually and I'm not sure how to get it put since the version of nexus mod manager I'm used to got changed. Any advice? [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Nov 2019 05:01 PM PST Doing my first NCR playthrough. Been about 7 years since my last playthrough. Doing a more detailed playthrough trying to find all the side quests any locations I havent been through. In previous playthroughs I played as independent or Legion. So I usually ended up killing all the NCR. I didnt really know what to expect siding with them they always just seemed arrogant and sad/pathetic. After i wiped out all the Legion camps and convinced the Khan's to leave the area all the comments started getting gross and cocky. We'll bleed the ground red this is our territory blah blah blah. Then starting to see how they treat the locals. Idk might have to rethink my playthrough. [link] [comments]
Are there any mods that make the Strip look cleaner? Posted: 30 Nov 2019 06:12 PM PST I've noticed that for a city that survived the Great War, it's still dirty. Are there any mods that make it look clean, no other modifications? [link] [comments]
Storing stuff in Victor's Shack? Posted: 30 Nov 2019 10:48 AM PST There's an ammunition box in Victor's Shack in Goodsprings. If I stash a bunch of my extra stuff in the box, will it stay there? Or will it disappear after a certain amount of time? Is there a better place in Goodsprings to stash all my stuff? [link] [comments]

How do you make Project Nevada and Cover Based Stealth compatible? Posted: 30 Nov 2019 10:21 AM PST I've read that you have to disable Project Nevada's stealth changes, only I don't see how to do that. I changed PN's stealth profile to "default" and turned off scripted detection. Is there a way to/How do I turn off PN's stealth changes altogether? [link] [comments] |
