F:NV on Xbox One? Recommend or no?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 09:33 AM PST

Heard that it was ok but had some gamebreaking bugs. Has anyone experienced this with backwards compatible FNV?

Looking to mod FNV but where to start?

    Posted: 25 Nov 2019 05:45 AM PST

As the title says, I have recently purchased a gaming PC and I wish to download some mods after already playing 500+ hours on PS3. I have had a look on nexus mods and mod db but I feel slightly overwhelmed with choice.

I am after a mod(s) that offer the most content (quests, armours, weapons), can anyone suggest a few mods that they are using that apply to this?

All suggestions appreciated - a modding noob

Problem with Arizona Killer and Legion turning hostile after return.

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 05:34 PM PST

Quest says to return to Caesar for my reward, but everyone at the Fort aggros the second they see me. I'm also not wearing any faction armor. Any ideas for a work-around? Trying to finish "Render Unto Caesar" is impossible, as that quest also automatically fails.

Mods that add either Health/DR/DT to enemies without giving any bonus to the player? I'm 80 hours in and can kill most NPCs with 1 shot

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 10:21 PM PST

I can't find anything like this on Google. I was using an XFO mod that added 200 health to NPCs but it didn't help that much and also it caused lag when in combat.

Three Marys won't show on my map (Honest Hearts)

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 05:23 PM PST

I've beaten the HH DLC (for the first time) and I went back to get kit and finish the map... because I finish maps.

Despite having been through the whole cave, and approaching it from both sides, at every angle, I can't get the discovery option to light up for this last, single location.

Glitch? I know you auto-acquire it during the... more violent ending... but I didn't see any notes saying taking the peaceful ending would remove the ability to discover it.

AMENDED: Three Marys Caverns. They don't show up like any of the other listed caves in Nukapedia.

Is it possible to add Megaton hairs to edited files in FNVEdit? If so, where do I find the values?

Finished my first playthrough of New Vegas blind in under 60 hours. Mini-ama!

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 10:03 PM PST

Y'all. My first Fallout game and my second Bethesda game that I finished the main storyline which would be Skyrim(only did 30% of the quests and I don't have the game anymore). Some thoughts on my first playthrough from first impressions, highlights that I remember, and my review for the ending at the next paragraph.

So why did I pick Fallout: New Vegas anyway? Primary reason is that it was on sale (I think it's winter sale of 2016), then I sat on it for almost a year until I got bored of playing DotA 2 and I just wrapped up The Stanley Parable endings. I started it at early 2017 and continue to breeze through it until mid July (caught up with college at that time) and didn't touch it again until few days ago. All I remember before Hiatus is that I intend to do Independent route (pretty smart move for a first timer amirite?), done most of the Yes Man quests early until side bets where I got sidetracked in the Zion Canyon with Joshua Graham (sexy voice and philosophical rambling is Italian chef kiss), then went back to Mojave and solved the Three Family's quests and Boomer quests but I ignored Brotherhood and Great Khan. After the Hiatus, I did a few errands for NCR and unmarked quests there before going to the Final Quest. Battle of Hoover Dam is quite intense, and have to confront the legate(fuck him and his shiny glorified plunger, but cool mask tho) and the NCR general(fuck his eyebrows). Didn't expect that the game just ends there, but it makes sense considering the outcome of the battle. Wow, the independent ending is really bleak, with anarchy in Mojave and the raider tribes are in open season to the caravans and travellers. There are some regrets since I tackled the main story early on and haven't bothered the other story DLCs and factions like Followers and Great Khans.

I'm planning on another run, this time I'm siding with NCR, and with mods. Still a casual with mods; I do know using Nexus Mod Manager and Loot for sorting mods when I was playing around in Skyrim, but can't really do more complicated stuff. If you have suggestion or a list of "Mods that you really need 99% of the time", thanks in advance.

I accept questions, stuff like what's my favorite weapon to use or what's my favorite hilarious conversation. Will stop answering after 24 hours. Have fun!

How do you keep the game from crashing?

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 10:53 AM PST

I like New Vegas a lot, but it crashes often, once or twice every hour. Is this a normal amount of crashes and do I just have to live with it, or is there a way to get less crashes?

Fallout 3/New Vegas camera and mouse stutter

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 12:33 PM PST

    Hello, everyone!

First, sorry if there are any grammatical errors. English is not my native language.

So yesterday I tried to play Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 again but I have a weird problem: The games runs absolutely fine at 60fps when I move around with WASD but stutters/jitters when I move the camera. It's not a huge stutter, but It's enough to be annoying. So does anyone here know of what I'm talking about? Is there a fix or something?

Another odd thing is that the camera stutter does not happen if I use a controller but I don't want to play with a controller because It's almost impossible to Aim. I also tried to use another mouse to see if that was the problem but the same thing occurs so I don't think It's my mouse.

    Specs:

    CPU: i7 3770

    GPU: GTX 1050

    RAM: 8GB

    MOBO: GA-B75M-D3H

    HDD:WD blue 1TB

SSD: SanDisk 240GB (It's where the game is installed)

    PSU: Corsair CX550

Mouse: I use a random microsoft mouse. Don't really know the model but like I said I already tried with other 2 mice and the same problem occurs.

As for a monitor, I use a Samsung TV as one. Nothing overclocked either.

    Thanks in advance!
