    Reminder about the real loot from Dead Money

    I remember i completely missed this on my first run,and almost forgot about it on my now third run:

    The real loot of the Sierra Madre is not the Gold Bars but rather the 1:1 exchange ratio from chips to pre-war money the casino has so one chip is basically worth 10 caps. All you have to do is get the 10k chips from the casino and save as many chips as you can (i can actually play through the whole DLC without spending any chip),and remember to do the exchange right before entering the vault as that is your last chance ;)

    You gotta hand it to Benny, he is possibly one of the bravest SOBs in the game.

    Not only was he going up against the head Honcho on the strip, he had the balls to hire the Great Khans for escort, even when it's common sense that the Khans are as territorial as most wasteland raiders are.

    He also had the freaking balls to sneak into the main Legion base camp, armed with only a 9mm pistol, in order to use the platinum chip. Beyond what was implied by Caesar after Lucius interrogated him, Benny seems pretty calm even when captured. Hell, even when crucified his dialogue and tone is pretty defiant against the courier.

    Meta-wise, I think Benny had a Speech skill of 90, and it had served him so well that he genuinely thinks he can talk his way out of (almost) anything.

    sky is way too bright, no mods or enb installed. any way to fix this?

    Second time this happening, I kill three of the assassins and the fourth one turns friendly and runs away, I tried to talk to him and he says "when time come I'll be the one to kill you" or "true to Caesar" and runs quickly away a short distance. Nellis is nearby so not sure how long he lasts.

    Facing this glitch of face invisibility and big exclamatory mark on it. Problem is not only with one face but many. I have latest version of new vegas with all DLC installed. I downloaded my game from gog.com. help!

    I always noticed this, nearby the Wrecked Highwayman the ambient music changes to a track you only here at this location, and it's absolutely awesome. Why the hell wasn't this track used more often?

    Hey All,

    I was curious what everyone's favorite method of farming caps during F:NV, especially for different play styles.

    Some thoughts (not a lot stopping one from doing multiple concurrently):

    • Hunter: hunting animals for hides/eggs/meat

    • Assassin: alignment with Legion/NCR and clean-out populated areas, collecting/selling equipment (could play against both sides for maximum benefit)

    Also wondering if there's anything profitable from crafting items at benches or campfires, i.e. are there creations worth more than the sum of the parts?

    What Damage does the Ammo Damage Modifier affect?

    So for example HP rounds have the "x1.75" modifier my question is does this modifier affect the weapon's base damage or the damage that shows in your inventory (After perks and the Guns/Energy Weapons skills are applied)?

    Because I'm starting to debate with myself whether 12.7mm standard rounds or 12.7mm JHP rounds are better for my playstyle with the survivalist rifle and i can't seem to find info about my question,well at least one that seems correct so it's getting hard to calculate damage to targets with different DTs

    [Honest Hearts] What do you think is the best option for Follows-Chalk?

    I've always been very conflicted over this decision.

    On one hand it is his dream to see the greater world and he would probably be unhappy on some level staying with his tribe.

    On the other hand the wasteland is very harsh and he's rather naive, it might just chew him up and spit him out. Especially if he can't get any advice from Joshua since Joshua wanted him to stay.

    What do y'all think?
