| Fallout closes when I press play Posted: 16 Nov 2019 06:57 PM PST Girlfriend has an i5-2400 (used, motherboard too, all other parts are new) 8gb ram and a gt710, I know theyre not blistering specs but it's fine for her indie and old Bethesda gaming, new Vegas runs at high with 60fps Just installed fallout 3, get to the initial menu l, press play and it just closes and doesn't open, set it on all the different presets, went to properties as suggested online and compatibility or administrator mode, any ideas? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 08:40 AM PST So i bought my friend Fallout 3 on steam because i enjoyed it a lot and thought they might like it too. The problem is i had win 7 and the goty version but i bought them the original version with no dlc and they have win 10, so i have NO IDEA how to help them. 1) I don't understand win 10. 2) All guides on Fallout 3 seem to work with goty only. So after trying a lot of things I came here for help. Is there any way to get the orignal one running? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
