    (Long post, buckle in if you're willing to go for a ride)

    No, I mean truly wrong.

    Yes, I know there is technically no wrong way to play this game as everyone's play style is different and all that jazz.

    But I've been royally playing this game wrong.

    I've replayed this game many, many, many times (3 and 4 Fallout as well) and only but seeing all your post have I realized I've never really done much.

    Yeah I've done almost every quest and played over 2,000 settlement quest alone up until I realized they never stop and then I did 18 more because 2018 was a year. But never look around and noticed the little things, the attention to detail like 3 skeletons dead with a cigarette and broken pelvis as reference to Futurama. I've never played all the way through as Legion because I think they're mostly all a bunch of moron raiders roll playing playing civilization after reading a travel brochure about Rome and seeing Caesar's Palace in Vegas (which is the real reason they want Vegas [in my head that casino exist there] and you can't convince me other wise!). But after seeing all your post about why doing a play through as Caesars Salads crouton, you all made me realize that I LITERALLY can't role play as them and only validated my thoughts.

    BUT the fact that you all can suspend your disbelief enough to do it, is something I'm kinda jealous of.

    The furthest I ever got was up to where you need the machine to operate on his head and I just simply walked away and left him to die. Only to find deep voice mask guy is the new boss who is Useless brother who both or so stupid in their convictions they can defeated by the power of skill checks, words, and friendship. I was pissed.

    What's my point? War, war never changes and I'm grateful for all the content and perspectives you have shown me.

    What is your opinion on the games base movement speed? I recently started playing and realized that your "run" speed is comparable to a snail and the "walk" speed is like equivalent to moving backwards.

    Installed a mod to make me move 2x faster when running, It amazing.

    What's your opinion?

    Hi! I need help editing armour .nif files from a mod I'm using but I have no idea what I'm doing.

    I found a really awesome T-800 mod made by CptRexhttps://www.gunetwork.org/t16580-fnv-release-the-terminator-by-cpt-rex?highlight=Arnold+Schwarzenegger

    The thing is, there are 9 premade armours that you can spawn. The two I want to use are AATerminator2 (T2_Terminator_Full_Body2.nif) and AATerminator4 (T2_Terminator_Full_Body3.nif).

    The thing is, AATerminator2 has a white beard and brown hair (I'd like to have both white like in Rex's showcase photos) and I'd like to change the jeans as well, replacing the one that comes in AATerminator 2 to the one found in AATerminator4. Another change I'd like to make is for AATerminator 4 to have white hair and to include a beard that comes from a standalone head (Arnold HeadMask_Damaged 2.nif). AATerminator4 does not spawn with the beard.

    In CptRex's showcase photos, there are different mishmashes of Arnold and clothing (that are including as .nif files), but for the life of me I don't see the option to spawn them in as armour or masks/face covering/addons or what have you.

    There are a bunch of .nif files and texture files but I honestly don't know what I'm doing. I opened up NifSkope and edited some of the models, took the beard from a standalone head (Arnold HeadMask_Damaged 2) and slapped it on AATerminator4, adjusted it so that it sat right on the face , overwrote the .nif file and then opened it up in GECK and the changes aren't there. For giggles, I spawned the armour in-game and the changes also do not appear as I play.

    I reached out in that thread asking for help, DM'ed the creator of the mod if they could explain what I need to do to swap models/objects around and put them in the game but no one has responded to me.

    If anyone can explain how to alter or change models/mods and spawn them in the game with those changes saved, I'd really appreciate it. I'm new to this kind of modding and I don't know nor understand what to do.

    Remembering how I misunderstood a line in the game

    When recruiting people to fight of the powder gangers in goodsprings, Sunny Smiles recommends having a silver tounge to convince Trudy to join the battle. Took me more years than I'm willing to admit to realize that it's a figure of speech and not an in-game item.
