    Hey everyone!

    We are looking to expand our moderation team here on /r/fnv .

    Applications will be open for the next few days.

    We do require moderation experience, either here or elsewhere (Forums, Streams, Discord, etc). Why? The Fallout Network as a whole is the largest Fallout community online, and we work closely with the moderators of all our subreddits, Partnered Discord and more. Smaller subreddits may be fine with no experience, but that is not what we are looking for at this time.

    Who are we looking for?

    • Someone with some experience, little or a lot
    • Someone who can remain impartial and moderate based on our rules, policies, and site wide guidelines, and not on personal opinion.
    • Someone who cares about the community
    • CSS / Automoderator / Graphic Design is a plus, but not required
    • Someone who has more than a few minutes to dedicate. Although quick moderation does only take a few minutes here and there, we are looking for people in multiple time zones that can check and enforce policies throughout the day, rather than in one burst at the end of the day.
    • An account that is older than 6 months
    • An account in good standing without a history of hate speech / harassment / or other things that would poorly represent our team.

    Please note the following. For your application to be accepted, please include the word "banana" in your application in the "about you" section. This is to ensure you actually took the two minutes to read this before choosing to apply for something that requires some level of dedication.

    That being said,

    Here is a link to the application. Please fill it out honestly and to the best of your ability. Sign in is required, but emails are not tracked. This is simply to cut down on joke responses / non serious users, and log in ensures one application per account

    I picked up way to much stuff in the plasma weapons shop (freeside) so I became overcumbered. I waddled to Mick and Ralph's to sell stuff, so I sold lots of stuff to them until they both had no money left. I would just sell them the rest of the stuff for free but the really heavy stuff is some really valuable armour and weapons that I'd rather get money for. I can't fast travel anywhere. So, are there any shops in the strip I can sell them at? Will everything respawn if I dump it at the shop to go off and sell them bit by bit?

    Why do people mod New Vegas instead of just moving on to a different game?

    I know that Viva New Vegas is nice and all, but whenever I see those sprint mods and those ENBs, and other things that transform New Vegas into a completely different game, but not entirely function, I ask myself... Why? Why are you doing this? Now, this might sound stupid and all, but I am just perplexed.
    What is the point of making a completely different game by overwriting something of a functioning vision. Mods that fix performance are cool and all, oh, no. That would be an understatement. Fallout New Vegas' mods that fix performance are life saving, those people should be payed thousands of dollars for doing the work Bethesda should be doing but lazily dumped it onto hard working Earth's citizens. This is ridiculous. But anyway, coming back to the subject.
    I can imagine that modding a game like Fallout: New Vegas must take hundreds of hours to learn and then hundreds of hours of programming to execute. Those animations... Those visuals... Everything has to be made. At what point do you guys just go and say things like "we have the resources, we can make a new game!" because seriously, you fucking can. If those modders had like a... Director... Or just enough to steam to unify like a Caeser's Legion then they would have the power to make a new game, like Black Mesa was. Of course it would take years before we would see any results, but...
    Wait...
    Isn't that what Fallout 4: New Vegas is? Are we entering the stage of modding where there are enough bonds and enough experience to a point that people are going to start making their own games? Oh, well...
    Very well.
    I wish all these people luck and I hope that their success... Is something that is going to happen.

    I started playing this game two weeks ago and i have come pretty far, i have power armor, energy weapons and lots of ammo.

    But i need help in two things: 1- Should i kill mr house or help him,which is more rewarding.i wanted to help yes man so i went to fortification hill bunker, but mr house is giving instructions again inside the bunker.

    2 - Also how can you get snipers in this game and attachments, as i have been unable to find a single attachment till now for a weapon like scopes and stuff. Also where can i find the power armor thats in the cover of the game(the one with red lens). I currently have power armor stolen from hardins room.
