Finally finished the paint on the deathclaw.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 07:30 AM PST

For those who followed the other post in December, you know it was a struggle bus since it was the first time I ever painted anything like this before. Well, after a vacation for Christmas I came back and got to work and she's finished and I'm really happy with the final product. The glow came out great and now I'll switch focus on the mount for the wall. Shes finally finished!!

    Fallout New Vegas is beautiful

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 04:24 PM PST

This game is a lot for me, where I live the country situation is very bad and despite all the stress and sadness that sometimes causes me I feel that with this game all my problems go away and they make me wrap myself in their world and lore .

You should be able to feed Benny to the White Glove Society as revenge.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 10:35 AM PST

The title pretty much says it all. I think this would be a cool option to get revenge on Benny. Replacing Ted Gunderson with Benny would make as much sense as replacing him with one of your companions. What do you guys think?

What’s everyone’s favorite Galaxy News Radio song?

I know Butcher Pete is a fan favorite, but I like "Let's go Sunning" and "Easy Living" best

Dala from OWB has unique dialogue when brought a teddy bear

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 09:16 PM PST

I don't know if this is commonly known, but having a teddy bear with you when talking to Dala brings up a unique dialogue option. Dala frequently calls people teddy bears, though when brought one staunchly defends herself and says that the actual teddy bear is not one, and that people are the only teddy bears. I couldn't find a YouTube video of this and just thought it was pretty cool to add to the game, and a mad coincidence that I always had one with me.

After 111 hours of playing Fallout 4, I finally heard "Baby it's just you" on the radio

    Posted: 19 Jan 2021 03:04 AM PST

As title says, I have played Fallout 4 for 120 hours now, but two days ago, at the 111 hour mark I heard a song on the radio I had NEVER heard before

The song in question was Lynda Carter / Magnolias song "baby it's just you" and I was so shocked I turned the volume to max and just stood still to listen. Absolutely amazing song. Really makes me wonder what other songs I have not heard? Hmmm, also sorta strange how the song track RNG works. I have probably heard Uranium fever 100 times, but never this song

And before you mention it; Yes I know you need to visit Magnolia at the Third Rail to activate her songs on the radio. I visited her at the... 40 hour mark? But I did visit her again recently for the cabbot quest (100 hour mark) so maybe I didnt talk enough to her?

Oh, and me hearing the song at the 111 hour mark was just a fun coincidence, maybe meant to be?

There’s a sequel to A Boy and His Dog

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 11:33 PM PST

And holy fuck is it one of the grimmest things I've ever read. Maybe I'm just a sucker when it comes to anything involving dogs but I didn't know there was a sequel let alone one so morbid.

I thought I'd mention it since the first one is brought up frequently but I've never seen anyone mention it's sequel: Vic and Blood.

If you're looking for more from the story that inspired the Fallout games… there you go.

What is your advice for a solid & diffrent start to fallout NV

    Posted: 19 Jan 2021 12:52 AM PST

I always take the long route ( beside getting chance's knife & the snow globe that's my only trip north from good Springs I struggle running through death claw territory )put points into strength I play melee & luck to clean the casinos out for the medicine rifle & ammo for that & ammo for the survival rifle come back and yadda yadda pretty much set playthroughs are getting boring so here hoping someone can come through with something to switch it up. Cheers

    Posted: 19 Jan 2021 12:51 AM PST

I'm fairly new to the game and ive been watching a lot of videos on different weapons and i was wondering if any of you had a build i could use, i was thinking about using the overseer's guardian and the instagating disciples cutlass for long range and close range use but i don't know what skills or armor i should use and was looking for some guidance, if you have any builds that work or anything that's better please let me know!

What are the Best Tagged Skills for a First Timer in 3/NV?

    Posted: 19 Jan 2021 02:47 AM PST

I've been telling people Guns, Speech, and Medicine, but that is based on my own play style, which may not work for everyone. I usually veer for a very charisma/intelligence heavy build, pouring points into Barter & Speech. I usually am well above the 2,000 caps credit check before I even get to New Vegas.

But, like, Unarmed, Melee, and Energy Weapons are going to be next to useless in the early game.

I can also see Science and Lockpick, or even Survival.

And on that subject, thoughts on the Good Natured as the best First Timer trait? I think the bonus to the noncombative skills is well worth the penalty to guns.

Honestly, I'm tempted to do a full on Moira Brown Wasteland Survival Guide.

Where would you like the next fallout to be?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 07:20 PM PST

Personally I say the midwest. I am biased as I do live there but there is so much potential. In IL there are sprawling highways which could be turned into cities or dungeons and near the border of IN and IL there is a MASSIVE quarry that can be turned into a city or a dungeon as well. Most importantly I would like to see cities like Chicago and St Louis turned into post apolictipic cities.

What is a gameplay tip not many people know about.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 08:50 PM PST

    I'll start.

In Fallouts 3, NV, and 4, if you press the VATS button and hear a clicking noise but don't zoom into anything, that means there is nothing in that direction.

However, if you don't hear a clicking noise but also don't zoom into anything, that means there's something there that is obscured and not in direct sight of VATS.

    Fallout 1/2 on Console?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 11:48 PM PST

So I've been playing Fallout for a few years (joined back in 2015 with Fallout 4 and got 3 in preparation.)

And recently I've completed Fallout New Vegas and was extremely pleased.

However I have already completed 3 and 3, and I have zero desire to replay them.

I am a mostly console player with a few dips into the PC space, but that's about it.

I've heard Fallout 1 and 2 are also really good like Fallout New Vegas, and I've been thinking if there's any chance they could bring them to consoles?

Or even remaster them with the 3D gameplay?

Is there any mods that are lore friendly and safe to use on xbox that allow you to take over the Prydwen as the minutemen, flying around in a post apocalyptic aircraft with the minutemen would be awesome.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 03:34 PM PST

So I started some of the new Vegas dlcs. I’m really disliking Dead Money.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 06:35 PM PST

Maybe it's just the fact that no one there is at all friendly? Or I just don't like the feel of it. I've only started this, and I've played honest hearts which was very good, but a bit too short. Maybe I just rushed through it.

Anyway, I'd like to know your rankings of New Vegas dlcs.
