- I snuck out early yesterday morning to get some provisions while things were quiet. Ran into this li'l feller about 3 km SW of the Old Mormon Fort. Does this mean the timeline has been compressed, or changed altogether?
- Really made me reconsider stealing that Stimpak back at McCarran...this is the type of propaganda that will save the Mojave.

Posted: 15 Dec 2020 09:14 AM PST ...like if Rex is your companion when Lily gets tested by the doctor in Jamestown, when he says something to Lily about rats Rex immediately starts barking, just like the King said. [link] [comments]

TIL Elder McNamara has unique dialogue if you already know how to use power armor Posted: 14 Dec 2020 05:33 PM PST I had to reset all of my dialogue trees for a glitched quest involving the Great Khans, and in doing so I reset Elder McNamara's dialogue after he had already taught me how to use power armor. When I spoke to him again he wanted to teach me again to which I replied something to the tune of "I already know" and then he complimented me on my knowledge. Honestly I have been playing Fallout: New Vegas for hundreds of hours and I learn something new every playthrough. [link] [comments]
Are there other games like this in terms of choice? Posted: 15 Dec 2020 06:11 AM PST I've never played another game where choices matter as much as this game. There are sooo many ways to complete quests and it's very apparent when an event is a consequence of a choice you made earlier. The only thing that stops me from coming back is the combat, which kinda ruins the experience for me even with mods. Any recommendations? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Dec 2020 07:42 AM PST i'm trying to make a career criminal / lawbreaker build. which basically is that the criminal will do whatever crime if given opportunity and profit, and will generally be doing whatever thats illegal as a way to hustle and make an extra living, for example, theft, hired muscle, robbery, burglary, intimidation and basically everyway to make money illegaly. backstory as a young child the criminal always found ways to make money illegaly. growing up in new reno, he always saw the mobsters and dealers walk away with quick cash and flash with their new outifts, girls etc. but then looked across the street to see farmers, shopkeepers, laborers and people making an honest living just barely scraping by. the criminal started off just with petty theft. but then as he started getting older he was doing robberies, burglaries, intimidating debt-takers, assisting other criminals in exchange for money and "services" at the casino and selling chems. he eventually had to leave new reno when he was at a casino gambling and the dealer accused him of cheating. the criminal lashed out and attack the dealer, breaking bones and throwing chairs. due to his relations, the family didn't kill him but told him to go and never come back. thus, leaving all his wealth, family and reputation behind. tag skills i've thought of are barter, sneak, lockpick, speech and guns/meleeweapons traits i've thought of are, hot-blooded, since he's short tempered as he attacked the dealer, and heavy handed. since he sometimes had to squeeze out money from people and teach other a "lesson". i'm just having some trouble with the special stats and what ending to do and what companions to tag along with, aswell gear/weapons. Cute outfits for Veronica to wear. Posted: 14 Dec 2020 08:01 PM PST Any ideas? I've tried the great Khan outfit, but she can't wear it because it's faction armour. [link] [comments]

Drug addict build without Logan's Loophole? Posted: 15 Dec 2020 12:34 AM PST I always tend to play a Good BoyTM character. Only chems I use are Rad-X, Rad-Away, Med-X, and stimpacks. Always choose the nice options. Legion bad, Powder Gangers bad, etc. But I think on my next playthrough, I want to go melee (maybe explosives, too!) and actually have to deal with the addiction mechanic. Worrying about using up their stock, saving up caps for more Psycho, and roleplaying it all out. Maybe by the end, they learn drugs are bad and have a heel-face turn. Or maybe they overdose and die, who knows? That's the fun of it! So, any suggestions for a build? I'm imagining a sort of punk rock chick with a baseball bat, or something. Live fast, die young, make a pretty corpse. [link] [comments]

I believe the game decides on a whim whether to freeze a fucking lot or barely at all Posted: 14 Dec 2020 04:25 PM PST I literally started a new character on PS3 10 hours ago and it froze on me 7 times and 3 times in Goodsprings Saloon when I was talking with Trudy about Benny and Khans. Thank God that I have superslim that has sliding disc tray so when it finally crashes, occasionally I can just slide a disc tray 1 cm and it unfreezes?!?!?!? (doesn't work every time) but every time I talk to someone or go into building it starts freezing again. Everyone talks about Skyrim and Fallout 3 stability on PS3 but neither of them have a smidgen of shit on New Vegas when it comes to technical issues. I started a character in Skyrim 2 months ago and reached level 74 before I've had enough and from the beginning to about level 65 it crashed on me O N C E !!!! and only started freezing a bit more now. FO3 wasn't crashing too much either [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Dec 2020 05:07 PM PST Are there any mods that add long hair options for men? As a dude with long hair in real life, it's infuriating how many games force me to use the female model just to get that as an option. [link] [comments]
