How much would someone know about the rest of America Posted: 24 Sep 2020 09:24 AM PDT Would they even know names of towns outside their little slice of the wasteland. For example would people in the commonwealth know about the Pitt, would people in the Capitol Wasteland know about Far Harbour. Would a Shi citizen know of what's happening north of arroyo in the Pacific North West. Making a DnD game where the players go from Angels Boneyard down through mexico and back up east through Texas, The Midwest to saint louis and then wherever they wanna go from there and wanna know just how much information they would have about where they're going. Posted: 24 Sep 2020 08:42 PM PDT According to a map by Parag Khanna, if the world warmed up by 4 degrees Celsius, 95% of the United States turns into a desert. This is projected to happen at the end of the century, and in the fallout world we know that oil was still the major resource being used by 2077 (except for the US and fusion tech but oil was still used a lot by them). With this in mind, it would make sense for all of the locations we've explored in past fallout games to be a desert environment. It's not just because of the nuclear bombs that the world is so barren, it's also because the old world failed to keep down carbon emissions and as a result, left a wasteland. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Sep 2020 08:10 AM PDT The armor certainly does seem like it is, although I dont think the helmet is sealed air tight if you look at how people can just take it off and on like a normal helmet [link] [comments] |
Why is leather a good armor against lasers and plasma? Posted: 24 Sep 2020 08:19 AM PDT I know that in 4 and maybe New Vegas leather armor hav a very high energy resistance. Is it ever explained or is this just balancing? [link] [comments] |
Real size of the factions we see in Fallout 1 and 2? Posted: 24 Sep 2020 07:04 AM PDT Okay, so I know that the reason the factions we see in F1 and 2 are so small is because they have to be compressed. But I've always wanted to know, what are the true sizes of these factions supposed to be? Factions like the Enclave, Brotherhood, Unity, NCR; What are these factions populations like number-wise [link] [comments] |
Is anything known about what happened to the rest of the world Posted: 24 Sep 2020 01:29 PM PDT I know China and the USA were destroyed and the Middle East drained of resources, but is anything known about what happened to somewhere like Europe or Africa? [link] [comments] |
Making a TTRPG based around Colorado Springs /Flagstaff. Posted: 24 Sep 2020 06:02 AM PDT I need all the lore I can get around anything East of the Colorado River. Setting is just after the events of Fallout New Vegas with a decisive NCR victory. What happened to the Rocky Mountains when the bombs fell? [link] [comments] |
Does Mr.House still count as a human? Posted: 24 Sep 2020 08:21 PM PDT This mofo is tied to at least a few super computers and has lived well past his he date through unnatural means,so is he still considered human? [link] [comments] |
