It makes the game so much more interesting. I'm not too much of a fan of energy weapons, but I like guns. Vats too. Might make an exception to energy weapons if they're more compatible with vats than guns. I have the ultimate edition so I can go up to level 50. Help me figure out where this modded character came from. Posted: 19 Mar 2020 09:13 AM PDT Yesterday I started a new modded playthrough. When I got to the Mojave Outpost, I went in the bar and talked to Cass. When I left the bar, I had a new follower, whom I did NOT recruit. It's a character named Georgie, dressed in some kind of wastelander clothes, a baseball cap, sunglasses, and with a beard, and carrying a rifle of some sort. He follows me and behaves like any companion, but he does not have a companion wheel or any commands--you can talk to him, but all you get is a sentence or two from him, no opportunity to respond. Quest mods I currently have included are as follows. I don't have any mods that only add new characters (except for Bad Mothafucka, noted below); he has to be from one of these quest mods. I have played most of these mods before (not quite all), and don't ever recall encountering this character; and the mod pages on Nexus aren't telling me anything useful. I would add a screenshot, but I'm not on the gaming computer right now; by the same token, I don't have the mods' readme files available right now. Beyond this list, all the mods I have are just fixes and graphics; they don't add any content, so I've omitted them from the list. Mods: Th3Overseer's Core ESM (not really a quest mod, I know, but part of a series of them) The Initiation Eliza The North Road Remastered Headhunting Curtis Munitions (not a quest, just a new vendor -- I don't THINK it would put a companion anywhere, but just in case) The Someguy Series (the esm for the someguy mods) Russell New Vegas Bounties I New Vegas Bounties II Bad Mothafucka King of the Ring The Inheritance The Courier's Cache I have also added New Vegas Bounties III and The Better Angels, but haven't activated them yet, so it shouldn't be from either of those. I can't dismiss him, so my only option to get rid of him--if it comes to that--seems to be to kill him. But I don't want to break any quests or storylines, either. i have no clue how this modding fuckup happened Posted: 19 Mar 2020 07:18 AM PDT i modded the shit out of new vegas not that long ago and recently i got it all working so i started playing, very quickly i noticed shit still went wrong because i kept running into legionaries called "legion elite soldier" or something like that who have pink faces, no body, and an extraordinarily high DT, also every legionary now wields a gladius and some wield a "gladius and riot scutum" which has no texture and is just a giant exclamation point , same goes for the "shishkabab mkII" that i think was added from the same mod, theres also the fact that dead sea now had unique, textureless armor and legionaries now use miniguns sometimes. ive looked up the strange items and all that on google and everything says that it comes from "Caesars new regime" but i never downloaded that, any help would be appreciated(also im unsure how to show my load order so i may or may not be able to show it) ​ apologies for bad english and grammar but i just woke up and im not good at typing anyway submitted by /u/firemonster221 [link] [comments]
