Thinking that random junk like a baseball and glove on a random shelf, books on bookcases, plates and cups on tables would make the settlement look like its thriving, but make them more human, for all I know, all my settlers must be synths, not that there's anything wrong with that. But really best reason of all, I'm not going to take the time to make these settlements lived in. [link] [comments] |

| Why do you love New Vegas so much? Posted: 01 Jan 2020 10:17 AM PST Hi redditors, Fallout fans and every person who is reading this. First of all, Sorry for my english. I started playing fallout serie from fallout 3. I loved that. The I bought new Vegas.. And it looked like.. Short? Boring? I don't know. this is probably why: When I was younger, I just played the games by doing only primary missions, ignoring or leaving everything else at last. I bought fallout 1,2 to try them. They're a little bit nice, I don't like the combat system tho. I loved fallout 4. Now, My friend told me that I have to buy all DLCs to enjoy the game. Is that true? I am playing NV right now and I like it, what do you love about fallout new Vegas? Any advice? Ty :) Oh and don't get me wrong, I know how bad I played games when I was a kid, This is why I'm enjoying re-playing them. (I'll probably buy NV on pc too, for a better experience) Have a nice day! | All my DLCs on Fallout 4 got deleted (PS4 Version) Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:03 AM PST So i loaded my recent savefile of fallout 4 and a pop up showed up stating something about my savefile will not load some stuff about the DLCs, along with the list of DLCs that are missing from my game. So i checked my game's info window and all of the DLCs disappeared. Now im redownloading them all again. Whats up with that LOL [link] [comments] |

| Having trouble with Fallout 4: When Freedom Calls quest Posted: 01 Jan 2020 11:16 PM PST This is my first time playing through a fallout game and I'm stuck on this quest. I've DEFINITELY cleared Concord of hostiles—the raiders and deathcrawler are all gone. I've probably spent about 2 real-world hours patrolling the town and firing random shots to entice raiders and other stragglers to attack me. I've checked every house, rooftop, and the sewer. However, Preston just keeps telling me to clear the city of hostiles. Every time I approach him, he tells me to go onto the roof while he "holds them off from up here" and then just continues to use standard "Hurry up!" phrases when I try to interact with him. What do I do? When I realized I couldn't beat the quest I just stupidly moved on to other ones, and I've made about 20 hours of progress in the game. I'd really like to avoid restarting the game if possible. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 01 Jan 2020 04:09 PM PST I agonized over the 2 levels I picked up taking the Corvega plant, finally dropping them on cap collector. Got my settlers settled in at Sanctuary, then loaded Ada with all my useful trade stock. We set off for the Co op in T45 with 4 fusion cores, stopping off to eradicate the gunners on the overpass. Got the base model protectron to start being the supply line to Abernathy farm. Headed for Diamond City, clearing the Riptide in the process. Picked up a few pieces of Junk power armor along the way. Fell in the river and had to walk to shore. Headed for Vault 81, as I knew that Curie's mission should be available, and I was pretty sure I could trade for the overseer's guardian. Went through the hidden vault, didn't get bit. Grabbed the cure and had Curie following me. Decided to jump from the 2nd level to the ground level so I could turn in the cure... and aggroed the entire vault. Let myself take fire and die. Noted that I hadn't slept in a bed since leaving Sanctuary. Good times. [link] [comments] |

| Hole in the Wall not getting bitten Posted: 02 Jan 2020 02:46 AM PST I just finished doing the Hole in the Wall quest in Fallout 4 and I noticed that when you get bitten and ONE mole rat you get a debuff which I got annoyed about but i also wanted to give Austin the cure so I just kept trying to do it but I never succeeded. I even went so far to use my missile launcher and fat man but still did not do it. Has anyone else finished this quest without getting bitten and how did you do it? (In the end i just spawned another cure for myself but i still want to do it properly) [link] [comments] |

Posted: 01 Jan 2020 05:19 PM PST like why didnt he ask vault tech to make one of those pods for him then he would have had his whole body, and he could have just set it to where it automatically releases him after x amount of years has passed or only after someone releases him manually.
