It does around the damage of a grenade launcher and the AOE isnt that large. basically i am asking, do you think it is deliberate it sucks, that the weapon was a failure in lore, that posieden energy failed. Or is it that the weapon is just a developer mistake, too nervous to make it "OP", much like how automatic rifles of the same calibre with similar barrel lengths deal much less damage than a semi-auto counterpart for balance reasons. The weapon is described like its a godamn war changing weapon, with a US army reperesentative coming to check it out pre-war. yet when you get it its basically a grenade launcher that takes 5 seconds to fire and can only be used once a day and requires a large facility to work. On the other hand the US army already has the fat man, a more powerful weapon that can be reloaded and fired more than once a day. What do you guys think? i feel like it was just them not wanting to make it "op" and going too far. The main thing is that i imagine there would be some hint from the logs if it was a deliberate lore decision. I would expect some scientist on his terminal going "of fuck the army wants to see it and its shit" or something. [link] [comments] | ||

Game runs at mostly 35-45 FPS during combat, trying to find the culprit mod(s) Posted: 04 Dec 2019 09:51 AM PST My game runs mostly at 50-60 FPS in most areas, during combat though I can see it hover at around 35-45 FPS consistently without lag spikes. I have made a few changes to my load order and have removed certain mods to try and get my FPS back up during combat (where it is the most important). I have made a merge patch for all of Millenia's guns called "Millenia_All_Guns", the merge includes the weapon pack and all further weapon releases that were never added into the pack. After merging the guns successfully I noticed no increase in general FPS so I hightly doubt this was the issue and it can't be blamed on a bad merge in case someone decides to give this as an idea (the FPS issues were present before and after the merge I made). My specs are (though probably not important): Intel i7 7700HQ 2.8Ghz, 16GB GDDR4 RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB, PCI-E GEN 3 256GB SSD I am running RUDY ENB. The FPS is not affected by the ENB at all, disabling it doesn't affect the FPS in any way. I have the same FPS with it on or off, so we can rule that out. I don't think my load order and total number of plugins is too crazy either. So guys I have one question, for the mods that do require DLC's, do I need to have then turned on in the current playtrough? Or do I just need to have the files in my computer? Maybe living in a third world country. His family are westerners missionaries or relief employees. Father killed by criminals. Mother has no family or help back home or resources to leave the country. Gets a job at some sort of charity/educational organisation. He helps their as a child and receives an education that he wouldn't receive in the general society. Grows up intelligent but lacking direction unpopular due to his temper. What would be his change into Caesar if he did? Going to learn the dialects of uncontacted tribes and is caught up in a war? Bringing charity to poor communities and his kidnapped by a gang for ransom. Would a similar outcome in game happen? Would he become the leader. If he did become a leader of some group how successful would his tactics be that was used in game. All conjecture just curious. Also any other setting. [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 04 Dec 2019 04:01 AM PST I've been having crashing problems (Crashing when walking into locations out of locations, sometimes randomly) on my second play through of the game. It's still playable, just annoying. This didn't happen on my first play through where I had no mods. The only mods I have enabled are NVSE and NMC's texture pack. I use FOMM for mods, though I used to use vortex, and after some recommendation, I turned off all my mods there and switched to FOMM. Ideas? Thanks so much! [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 03 Dec 2019 04:43 PM PST Someguy2000 and th3overseer are probably my favorite mod authors, but I thought it might be fun to slaughter a sacred cow. It seems as though he adapted to similar feedback with Better Angels, but I am not a fan of the whole deal where waves and waves of enemies attack a fixed position. I wouldn't like it anyway, but because of my shitty computer, there's a decent chance I'm going to have to do it repeatedly to get through without a crash. What do you not care for? "I put a spell on you" side quest help Posted: 03 Dec 2019 06:15 PM PST I'm on the monorail bomb part of I Put a Spell on You, the quest in Camp Mccarran, and I can't defuse the bomb no matter what I do. I went to the spy in the tower and killed him then went back. Then Hsu told me there was a bomb on the monorail so I went to the monorail, and no matter what I try the monorail always leaves seconds before I reach it. Is there any way to save the monorail? My last save is like two quests behind unfortunately so I want to figure out a way to save the monorail after I kill the spy. [link] [comments] | ||
