Posted: 23 Nov 2019 07:39 AM PST Hi guys, I just started playing F:NV for the first time not too long ago. I've only played Fallout 3 before. Just wondering if you guys have any tips or advice for my first playthrough. I'm worried about going through things too fast. I just made it to New Vegas, and I've been playing for about 10-15 hours or so. I've generally been following the main quest while doing any side quests I come across and exploring any markers that pop up on my compass. How long did it take you guys to get to New Vegas? Should I keep generally following the main quest or should I branch out more and try to hit some of the markers I haven't explored yet. Thanks. :) [link] [comments]
Your favorite overhaul/large mods? Posted: 23 Nov 2019 03:56 AM PST I have tried a couple and i tend to prefer a few large mods to lots of little mods. (usually with a couple small quality of life ones like the headgear fix where it makes sense what headgear you can wear together.) I have played tale of two wastelands and am currently playing project nevada (loving that one) Whats your favorite large scale mods and why? [link] [comments]

FNV Community Modding Guide Patch crashing the game before the title screen Posted: 23 Nov 2019 09:24 AM PST As the title says. The game doesn't even get through the first slide if the patch is enabled, but gets to the title screen fine without it. Does anyone know why that might be? I'm only using the mods recommended by the community guide from the sidebar, and it's all set up in MO2. [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Nov 2019 06:11 PM PST So earlier I decided I would play fnv while waiting for my friend, so I did, but it was only for, like 5 minutes. So I come back, and now every time I try to continue my game, it just gets stuck on the loading screen. Is there any way to fix this? [link] [comments]

NVSE Instability on Windows 10 Posted: 22 Nov 2019 01:46 PM PST Please for the love of good, has anyone here experienced and resolved issues they had with NVSE and Windows 10? FNV was fine on my old W7 machine, but it's an unstable mess with the same mod set up on my superior machine, now running W10. It's actually more playable when running from the vanilla launcher, but without running via NVSE, certain mods of course won't work. I've tried stutter remover mod, tick fix, the crash handler mod, 4gb patch, busethreadedai=1, nothing has been able to make this as stable as it was on my old pc so far. Please, PLEASE, has anyone else experienced this and been able to fix it? [link] [comments] |
