Bethesda should have done more DLC like Far Harbor for Fallout 4 Posted: 22 Oct 2019 07:27 PM PDT It's a shame they were done with the game after that DLC. It's the only really great one and has better writing than the main story. The game in general needs more content, there aren't nearly enough meaningful side quests Skyrim got way more content post release. [link] [comments] |
Fallout 4 wedding ring: what do people do with this? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 05:25 AM PDT Do you sell it? Stash it away somewhere? I just can't bring myself to get rid of it, no matter how desperate I may be. [link] [comments] |
MOJAVE BLUES OFFICIAL TRAILER: Fallout New Vegas Mini Series Announcement Posted: 22 Oct 2019 02:10 PM PDT Instead of waiting for the makers of Fallout to make their own TV series, I decided to go ahead and do it myself! Series Premiere this Friday- ** A FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS SERIES BASED ON THE GAME BY OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT AND BETHESDA STUDIOS** After months of scamming caps out of the citizens of the Mojave Wasteland with her new partner, Courier Six is offered a mission that'll change her life - to assassinate a high ranking commander of Caesar's Legion. Can Six and the Ranger pull it off without losing their sanity, or their lives? Not without the help of a few familiar faces along the way. Series Premiere: October 25th, 2019, with new episodes every week! Huge thank you to Obsidian and Bethesda for creating this universe and allowing fan films like this to flourish! We at MCP Entertainment are honored to bring the universe to life for the silver screen! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZ72QTOj1x8 First episode (PILOT): [link] [comments] |

Nuka World has the best map in Fallout 4 Posted: 23 Oct 2019 04:51 AM PDT Going through Fallout 4 this time, there was something bugging me in the back of my mind whilst I explored the commonwealth that I've thought about years ago but not in depth. I had a similar feeling while going through Far Harbor. When I was going through Nuka-World, however, I didn't have the same feeling though. Nuke World was similar to Fallout 3 and New Vegas in this aspect, which is why it is my favorite map (even though I didn't like much else about this DLC). I don't like how "crowded" everything is in Fallout 4. It's like a pinball machine and the Sole Survivor is the ball. You can't swing a dead cat without stumbling into some generic building, settlement, or raider camp, awakening some ghouls, or attracting some other immediate attention to yourself by stepping in any direction. It kills any sense of adventure and atmosphere. Anyone who's played Fallout 3 and New Vegas might be able to understand what I mean. Remember that feeling of walking around a seemingly endless expanse of wasteland? Occasionally running into abominations roaming or a Random Encounter? That feeling of Isolation? The Reaction you'd have when you stumbled upon a community or landmark like the Republic of Dave or Oasis? "hmm what is this place doing out here who are these people" I never got that feeling in Fallout 4, except in Nuka-World and perhaps discovering the Children of Atom in the Glowing Sea. It was honestly fun to explore Nuka World and stumble across things like Evan's House or the Shovel Museum. After playing Fallout 4 for a while, buildings start feeling the same and stop leaving any sort of impression in my mind. So even buildings that are actually pretty interesting and historical, I often overlooked my first play through. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 22 Oct 2019 08:45 PM PDT Fallout: New Vegas is currently 70% off on steam. This puts the price of the base game at $2.99, and the ultimate edition at $5.99. This deal lasts until the 29th of October. [link] [comments] |

Should I get Fallout 4 season pass for the DLCs, or should I get Fallout76 Tricentennial edition? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 06:43 PM PDT Playstation Store is having a sale, and they are both the same price (I can only get 1). Sounds dumb, but I can't make up my mind about it. One one hand, Fallout 4 is offline, and the DLCs greatly affect the game and add more story On the other hand, there's Fallout 76, an entire game with whatever this edition comes with. The downside is that it requires PS+ to even play. [link] [comments] |

Considering Fallout 4... have important question Posted: 22 Oct 2019 04:36 PM PDT Hi all, I played Fallout 2 wayyyyy back in the day, haven't played any since. Fallout 4 is currently on sale for a great deal on Steam, and I thought, "This game looks really impressive, i have heard great things," but watching the trailer, I saw.... A dog. Now, just like Chekov's Gun, typically any time a dog is shown in the first act (or trailer), it is because something horribly sad will happen to that dog over the course of the story. I really, really can't handle seeing that kind of stuff, so please be honest - if the dog is part of the story, does it make it through? Or should I skip this game? Less important followup, do I need Game of the Year addition with the extra DLC? Thanks a lot everyone! [link] [comments] |
What’s your favorite fallout quote? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 09:04 PM PDT Personally it has to be "They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics I said I have a theoretical degree in physics they said welcome aboard" -fantastic [link] [comments] |
is Fallout:New Vegas worth playing again with the DLCS? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 08:37 PM PDT I finished new vegas a while back, and now the dlcs are on discount so, is it worth buying and playing again with the dlcs or did I already get the best of the game? [link] [comments] |
Is the Pipboy more common than were shown? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 08:25 PM PDT As one to have walked both the Capital and Mojave wasteland, It never occurred to me despite looking at it more times than I want to admit. The pipboy is a handy tool for all those venturing the wasteland. But now that I think about it. You never really come across another one ever. Now I know it was a VaultTec item, so all vault dwellers had one. But other than the one your given in the start of every game. You never really come across another one, now if it was a issue of "we don't need to give everyone one if your only needing the one." But how common would you really come by a pipboy? Codsworth admires me but no dialogue Posted: 22 Oct 2019 09:04 PM PDT "Codsworth's admires you" pop up but no dialogue? Is this a bug or.....? [link] [comments] |
