Screw-ups By the Number, to the tune of Heartaches By the Number Posted: 28 Oct 2019 05:06 PM PDT Its got screw-ups by the number Retcons of the lore Every day we play it less Each day they play us more Yes, its got screw-ups by the number A game the devs can't fix And the day that they stop trying That's the day this game will end Screw-up number one was when you sold us A repair kit that nobody asked for And screw-up number two was when you tried to sell a fridge You sold that and much, much more Now its got screw-ups by the number Retcons of the lore Every day we play it less Each day they play us more Yes, its got screw-ups by the number A game the devs can't fix And the day that they stop trying That's the day this game will end Screw-up number three was when you sold private worlds I don't think that's what this game needed It wouldn't be so bad if they actually worked It's really quite hard not to feel cheated Now its got screw-ups by the number Retcons of the lore Every day we play it less Each day they play us more Yes, its got screw-ups by the number A game the devs can't fix And the day that they stop trying That's the day this game will end [link] [comments] |
Am I crazy, or was there a version of Fallout 3 where you could beat up Butch at the birthday party? Posted: 28 Oct 2019 08:08 PM PDT I have a very vivid recollection of the first time I played FO3, that I was able to fight back against Butch when he attacked me at the birthday party, and that even afterwards he had a different dialogue when you interrupt Amata being harrased; where he would call you a psycho for beating him up previously. None of my friends seem to remember this and I cant find an instance of it through google search, but I did notice other people who vaguely recollected being able to fight him. Is this real? Is there a video of it or something? And if it was removed from the game, then why? Sorry if this has already been posted, but I couldnt seem to find anything relevant on my google search. Edit: I know a lot of people are saying I have Mandela effect, but I just listened to Butch's VO lines. And he has a line during the goat confrontation where he says "Whoa, take it easy, no need to go all psycho on me again" About 25 seconds into this video. [link] [comments] |
Does anyone know what happened too FluffyNinjaLlama ? Posted: 29 Oct 2019 12:42 AM PDT Fluffy hasn't posted anything in over 11 months. She did some Fallout 76 videos then disappeared again. There's also been no recent updates on her Twitter page and she hasn't even addressed The Outer Worlds. Please if someone has any sort information around her in recent months please let me know [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Oct 2019 11:15 AM PDT Good thing for me tho, cuz that's what got me to play fallout 3 for the first time :) [link] [comments] |
Am I the only one who wants Courtney ford to return in future Fallouts? Posted: 29 Oct 2019 02:50 AM PDT Personally to me, companions and their personality were one of the biggest improvements in Fallout 4, most of them if not all were interesting in their own way, Nick's sassiness, Cait being a straight badass, Curie's innocence, etc. But piper is a whole different story, Courteny did a fantastic job in potraying her that to me she is the best real-life like video game character that I've ever played with, she wasn't the boring run of the mill righteous type, she just felt human, to the point where I couldn't be rude to her even when playing an evil character. I hope Bethesda considers her for future Fallout games. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Oct 2019 04:34 PM PDT There's a class war going on in fallout 76. Soon there's gonna be a great depression, a civil rights movement, housing prices are gonna go up, inflation will sky rocket, and the stock exchange is gonna plummet. Thanks Toddy Boy. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 29 Oct 2019 03:46 AM PDT So i didnt know if anyone has figured out the vault 111 bug that causes the vault door to not open. Which is a big game breaking bug. Come to find out this is cause by the creation club content. ( what do you know not Bethesda content that cause bugs lol) I am also adding about the other Creation club content that causes game breaking bugs as well that are widely known about. I downloaded the " Pint-Sized Slasher" content the other day and started a new survival play through. Went through the whole beginning just to get to the vault door and it wont open. So i thought it was a mod. Went through and disabled some mods and nothing still the same outcome. So i then decided to go in to my fallout 4 data folder and i took out the pint sized slasher content and bam the vault door opened. So as of right now there are four potentially game breaking bugs in the fallout 4 creation club content. Here is a list of content that you might not want to download.
Numbers 3 and 4 ive read once you finish the beginning quest and get preston to sanctuary you can reinstall the tunnel snakes and the astronauts power armor. The horse power armor let me know if anyone had problems with this because like i said i downloaded that at the same time as the pint sized slasher and thats why i took both of them out. The vault doors opened fine and havent had anymore problems. Just wanted to get this out there because ive seen alot of youtube videos and stuff about the vault 111 bug and nobody could figure it out. So if your having that issuse go to you fallout 4 data folder and remove the 3 files for the content Pint size slasher ( i think these are the files. Dont have PC in front of me right now) Pint.esp Pint.main ba2 Pint.textures ba2 [link] [comments] |
Anyone having Fallout 1st ads randomly appearing on Windows 10? Posted: 28 Oct 2019 06:28 PM PDT It's been happening to me a few times now. It started to happen when I was Alt-Tabbing between windows but it just did it as I was typing this. Basically it's an add for Fallout 1st that pops up on top of the Twitch video player with no context at all and at the bottom it says "S'abonner" (I have Windows 10 in French but Twitch in English). It disappears almost immediately so I haven't been able to record or interact with it much. I never installed the Bethesda launcher on this PC and the only Bethesda related things I installed are the regular edition of Skyrim, Oblivion, the old 2.5D Fallout games abd Fallout New Vegas, all of which through Steam. I just want to know if I'm not the only one experiencing this anomaly. I'm launching OBS now so I can hopefully catch it next time it happens. Edit: I managed to record it and indeed it lasts less than a second. There's also no additional window in the task bar. Here's a screenshot (sorry for the poor quality): https://imgur.com/a/ZjkaWeB It also happened twice in a row while typing the Edit but OBS wasn't recording. [link] [comments] |
Fallout 3 had it's own, unique, taste Posted: 28 Oct 2019 10:53 AM PDT As you probably know, today marks 11 years since the release of F3. After 11 years (and a lot of hours spent on FNV and F4, never played F76) I still have a very kind memory of it, of its own different way of narrating the Wasteland. Maybe it's the fact that F3 was one of the first RPG games I played seriously, but I still think that when it comes to making you feel the desolation of a post-apocalyptic world Fallout 3 is the best in the franchise (considering only F3, F4 and FNV since 76 its multiplayer and F1 and F2 are different games). I just want to share this with you guys cause I want to know what do you think, if you agree or disagree with me. As I said, maybe after 11 years my memories became sweeter and no longer reflect reality as it was (the younger you are, the more magic everything is). 11 years ago life sure was less stressful, but what a journey it has been (on the Wastes and IRL). To everyone who started this franchise with F3 like me, I say: Cheers to us, eleven years after. PS. I hope i made no mistakes, if there are some I'm sorry, english isn't my first language [link] [comments] |
Need some help with this quote from NV's trophy guide. Posted: 29 Oct 2019 02:13 AM PDT Ok, so im planning on making a save after ring a ding ding as my "checkpoint save", so i can play on all different factions. Anyways, im planning on not finishing quests that could affect the rep or alliances for the other factions, the Oh My Papa. Im about to head to the tops casino to kill matthew perry. I read this snippet in the trophy guide for the game: "Oh My Papa" - Either make them an ally or eradicate them. Do this before killing Benny, else you will lose the Platinum Chip and it will be a pain to get back. From the looks of it, i should do something about the khans before i off matthew perry. But i dont want to do something about that khans yet until im playing the ncr and legion paths. [link] [comments] |
Join Team on fallout76 for P.S? Posted: 29 Oct 2019 02:02 AM PDT 24/F I have one close friend who rarely plays fallout with me! I'd like to make playstation friends and have team mates but I'm rather shy and a bit awkward! I love taking my time while collecting junk and exploring. Obviously if you're competitive or can't stand slow players/walkers then I'm not the team mate for you lmfao [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Oct 2019 02:02 PM PDT After having finished the New Vegas challenge of All Quests - No Kill - Permadeath - Boxing Gloves only a while ago, I've decided to try one last New Vegas challenge run. For this challenge, I'm trying to do as many quests as possible in an NCR run + DLC's without allowing myself to get hit once. As soon as I take any damage whatsoever, the run ends. The only thing I do allow are rads, but I can't heal those either. I'm also allowing unavoidable damage (though this should only be applicable to the Cloud in Dead Money). For this run, I'm utilizing a very short-term Critical hit build, that should make scoring criticals as frequent as possible. I'll also be relying on stealth, sniping and some odd strategies to make sure I keep everyone happy with me (and to avoid Legionary Assassins and NCR Rangers). So far, I've made it to Novac and had quite a good start. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Oct 2019 10:46 AM PDT Fallout really opened my eyes to some of the old school music style and thanks to the radio I find these songs really catchy and find myself singing along. And that's why I always play with the radio on in any fallout game [link] [comments] |

Realistically, how would Vault 3 have looked like? Posted: 29 Oct 2019 05:02 AM PDT I was playing New Vegas last night, and I had to do the chems delivery to Motor-Runner at Vault 3. As most of you already know, Vault 3 is a vault that's been taken over by Fiends, drug-addled psychotic madpeople who are sadistic, unhinged and pathetic in equal measure. Obviously, Vault 3 is too calm for that description. Yeah, there are a few bodies on hooks, and blood splatters, but I think in my mind the habitat of a group of extreme junkies all locked up together might look a bit worse, both in the, um, activities happening in the background, and the general scenery. I don't know many drug-using folks in real life, so I figured that however I imagined it, it probably would be a bit off. So I'm curious. Redditors who've been/known junkies and seen how they function, how would Vault 3 have looked like if the addictions are handled realistically? What would the people be doing, what sort of doodles will be written on the walls, how would the fiends have looked and dressed different? And actually, would it even have been possible to keep a gang of druggies together in this way (taking into consideration the kinds of drugs like Psycho or Jet that exists in the FO universe)? I'll understand if people get mad at me for even playing this garbage, but there ya go. My hatred for this game still outweighs the positives, but I just felt these 3 aspects had this biggest impact on me in a good perspective. [link] [comments] |
Why is there still so much bug in fallout 4 Posted: 28 Oct 2019 09:08 PM PDT I got the craving to play Fallout 4 again. Mostly because I wanted to play the DLC in which I never got to. I also decided to give myself an extra challenge by playing on survival mode. And it's not hard or difficult because I'm doing builds the worst part of it is dealing with the bugs my whole DLC is bugged up. I think if we would have multiple problems Bethesda would fix it I guess not. Start having some fun tho. [link] [comments] |
[Fallout 4] Anybody have a recommended mod list for a hardcore survival play through Posted: 28 Oct 2019 09:56 PM PDT I'm trying to make a survival horror, and as for horror it's only 5 mods or so to completely change the game. But survival is what I'm having trouble with, thanks in advance <3 [link] [comments] |
Question about the “Destory the Brotherhood” quest in Fallout 4 Posted: 28 Oct 2019 07:00 PM PDT I'm currently on my second play through of FO4 and decided to see what would happen if I made a beeline straight to the Railroad HQ( you get some really funny dialogue about how nobody knows who you are or how you got there btw) and it brought up an interesting question, what would happen if you just never triggered the brotherhood arriving by rescuing Nick? Would Gloria survive? Would they just show up at the end of one of the quests? [link] [comments] |
